I love how perfectly clean the current gen Porsche tail lights are.

only ones I think I know are

Once, after a 120 mile 100+mph slog through northern france to make a ferry back to the UK, I ran out of petrol on the side of the M25 but managed to coast exactly far enough to reach a services.

I used an entire tank in 150 miles. it usually lasts 250. :(

Not to mention BMW with the K1 !

This was my contribution at the time :)

I like the trick some people do using the front tow point hole with a screw in adapter to mount a license plate on.

BMW really remembered the 2000C and thought ‘yea lets bring that back’ huh

We have this in the UK too, it’s called ‘Statutory Off-Road Notification’. and it allows the vehicle owner to park a car on private land and not have to tax or insure it. It’s also a rolling monthly tag so until you re-register it it remains active, rather than needing to be renewed.

Except the BMW HP2 sport

It looks good, but I really wish this modern trend of cutting most of the arse off of bikes so the saddle ends almost ahead of the rear axle needs to go away.

I used to have an F800GS and I meddled with the gearing for better cruising speed with a +1 tooth front sprocket and -2 rear sprocket, it made initial launch slower but once the mill was up to speed it felt faster up at the top end. Plus it cut the vibrations at 75mph/6th gear significantly.

Current model Range Rover Sport does this as well, turn the indicator on and the entire running light disappears

I’m sure someone will LS swap one anyway

Anecdotally, BMW Motorrad is doing very well right now. Last year at least I read their bike division was actually propping up the car division here in the UK.

$442m is the revenue figure, I imagine after accounting for costs the profit is significantly lower
