Ma peche!
B-but... Radiata Stories!
Yeah, they are definitely different enough. It's just what first came to mind when I saw the article. Luckily, I don't think it really matters since this is just a still from the commercial and not the official box art or anything.
Great, now I'll have to make sure I don't get my skull silhouettes mixed up.
The cover of Apocalypse instantly makes me feel like I'm back shuffling through PS1 games in a bargain bin.
Damn it, Ron Gilbert, you are the coolest. This was a fun read.
Agree with Dobls P.R.—definite Secret of Mana vibes going on here.
I can see it!
I love this series. Phil, Dodger, Jesse Cox and everyone else involved are all really cool people. I'm also enjoying the new artist (in a "I want to steal your skills and make them my own" kind of way).
Q is almost certainly Qeynos from EverQuest 2.
That's always my first thought when I see stories like this. Sure, the man has some serious work to stay on top of, and accidental app spam like this might hurt morale, but is it really so hard to believe that he (or any politician/public official) unwinds with some low-energy entertainment?
We can see how badly you want Deers of War, Plunkett.
Nice! Also with Domino's pizza, no less.
Bashcraft's author picture really lines up perfectly with the DDR machine and the surprised/confused tone of the article. Redesign +1
Seconded. That entry just plain looks cool.
Who would really want to sit at a table alone with Mr. Satan?
At this point they should just throw Chiaotzu back in the mix! Come on!
I have no experience with Skullgirls, but based on the characters posted in this thread, it's obvious that Stanley is the right choice. He makes me want to buy the game.
I never understood what his sword is resting on in this pose. It's behind his shoulders, and it's not in any kind of harness (right?), and as Smeh pointed out, he's barely gripping the thing. It's the hover hand version of sword holding!
