I agree with your sentiment. Jaguar already makes bland cars for most people who buy Jaguars, why would you want to go to the NYC auto show to see cars straight from a dealer lot?

At least you would be able to buy a brand new GTD for a lot less $$$, unless you have the means to spring for the Audi, then by all means!
I was sure Corvette took number 1 after reading through the last 9...I guess I misunderstood the question. This AOTD is more like "The midlife crisis car you SHOULD buy instead of that Automatic Corvette/Miata".
+1
I second this one. I wish my house had a proximity key. You know, like when you got all the grocery bags out of the car in one trip, then you realize the door is locked and you need to insert a physical key.
My proximity key, if removed from the car, will cause the stereo to play the loudest, most obnoxious beeping sound from the speakers. It was made in 2009 and surely isn't the first car to have solved this "issue".
I did denote that I haven't driven any of the cars :(
Well if you never look at the car or talk to anyone about it then you're golden :)
It's not the car that stacks up but the experience. And since I haven't been fortunate to drive any of them, I can't say.
It is missing the race heritage and limited production numbers combined with those classic eighties looks.
So far I've only managed to buy a regular E30. Your story is inspiring to me. I don't want to give up hope but it can seem like a daunting task to acquire one.
Volvo is being a company that wants to make money. This is why they have stopped almost all wagon production for US models and have a smaller product line than others, as well as less frequent major overhauls to their product.
All this spinning and writing has left me drained for the day. What's this? A nicely appointed leather chair that simulates a driver's seat of a car? I think I may have a sit and ponder life whilst unconcious.
Unfortunately for everyone, Volvo Truck is a separate company only linked by a holding company that manages the Volvo logo.
The whole point of buying an E30 M3 right now would be to find one that has seen better days and spend your time loving it to health and having an awesome time with it as your project car. All this attention makes me think that my dream of E30 M3 in my garage will never be a reality. I already put a 325is E30 in my…
It's great if you own an S14. The value of your car will be higher.
Have you seen the new Corvette interior in person?
Not a barn but this deserves a spot.
A keyhole? My 2009 Volvo has the keyhole hidden behind a plastic piece of the handle for when the battery on the remote dies. This one has me scratching my head.
