I'm tired of making excuses for the Corvette. I love it as THE American sports car, but get into a GTI and tell me that its super difficult to make a premium feeling interior on a budget. I know the new Vette is a lot better than the old "if it's good enough for a Cobalt..." days, but it has a hard time holding a

Except Chicago Auto Show....all they had was the new big sedan and a pre-production SUV. Whatever excitement I had flew right out the window. Also, honda has to prove to me that they actually know what it means to build an exciting car again after the CRZ.

What's this thing?

MY HYPERCAR HAS A USELESS DESIGN FEATURE!

Ah, I missed the well heeled part. As long as i get to enjoy seeing them running around the streets, that's all that matters.

This is why I read Jalopnik. Where else are you going to find people interested in the same obscure car related topics?

What millenials do you know that would be able to afford one of these right now? Unless of course you mean that the millenials will be able to buy one in 10 years, about when the car begins its disintegration...

Since when are manuals for "purists"? How do you define purists? I would say manuals are for us regular jalops who can't afford a track-walloping GT3 (or the absolute fastest lap time) and need the manual transmission to make every day driving more engaging and less appliance-like.

"Take all my money and give me an automatic!" - Said no jalop ever

"Yes, we are listening, and will also not be bringing our awesome hatch to the USA, as is the trend for the Germans."

I know that all of these have been posted, but I think they are all part of one answer and should not be separate line items in the AOTD.  The answer being any older German big sedans. Roll out in a 7 series, A8, or S Class, and you have bought the cheapest and most image enhancing cars money can buy. Sure, the lotus

When are you guys coming to Chicago?

Less power than a civic and more room to haul your crap? I think an SI motor would fit nicely.

Agreed.

On the big retro nose.

There's a new Corvette? O RLY?!?!

Once you factor in emissions, CAFE standards, and the relatively low purchase price compared to cars that had the F20 motor, I think it makes more sense that the toyobaru motor is what it is.

I am surprised you shared these gems. I will be stealing these.

"Is it a surprise that Moore was arrested? Of course not. He rides the motorcycle of choice of speeders and hooligans..."
