Well, I’ve been around these trucks literally my entire life, I’ve owned 4 different 12 valves. We call them 12v because they are 12v, as opposed to “24v” or “commonrails”. If I were to speak to someone who wasn’t into diesels, I would refer to it as a “Dodge Diesel” or a “12v Cummins”.

Its a lot faster to say, “I was working on my 12 valve” than it is to say, “Yeah, I was working on my 93 5.9 6bt.”

Beyond that, someone who bought an FRS that wasn’t a BRZ.
