I’m the opposite, I like her better with 12. With 11 she was more a plot device and/or window dressing for Smith to exposition at, with Capaldi she actually become more of a character in her own right.

I don’t hate her, I just find her somewhat boring, she’s never clicked with me and made me go ‘wow she bloody rocks’, which is something I’ve done at least a couple of times with every other companion. I’m not saying she’s bad and that she hasn’t had some really good moments because she has, just that I’ll be happy…
Yeah I’ve been told that a few times which is honestly one of the reasons I’ve kept putting it off because I know once I start I’m gonna wanna just keep watching until I’ve watched all 5!
I still have 5 episodes of last seasons SHIELD to watch and I’ve got less than 2 weeks now to catch up. I’ve been super slack but that promo pic has gotten me too excited am going to try and find time this weekend to watch the end of season 2.
I like skye’s (I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to switch her name to Daisy in my head, she’s Skye god damn it) outfit well enough but it’s still just a fairly standard black cat suit with some generic gauntlets, I was hoping for a little more flair than that.
It seems very much a miority opinion but I hated the ending of the movie too, in part because I loved how the book ended and also because I don’t feel they conveyed enough hopelessness/time passing for that ending to feel justified.
Well in the book the main characters escaped the town and travelled trying to find the edge of the mist but it’s implied that it’s everywhere. I wouldn’t mind if season 1 was the story from the book and then season 2 was a journey through the mist trying to find the end/cause/more survivors/all the above.
One of the bonus funding goals after they’d reached their original goal was DVD and Blu-ray release so while you may not be able to buy a digital version, eventually you should be able to buy a physical copy.
Oo ta!
Oh I missed that I will have to go have a look.
I know this is about what people Google to figure out how to spell so my comment is slightly tangential but god damn English is bad enough do we really need two different versions of it? Sure the differences are not that numerous but words like grey and cancelled aren’t actually wrong they’re just different (British)…
I have Perdido Street Station as well, I forget why I decided to go with The City and the City first other than I think I’ve had it recommended to me a few more times than I’ve had Perdido recommended. However I’m fairly fickle when it comes to what books I end up reading, I can plan six books ahead then throw the…
That would be cool, ty.
I have been reading The Shining Girls since the start of the year, I love the concept but I find it to be a really jarring read and I’m normally fine with stories that are told in non-chronological sequence. I’ll finish it eventually, I read little bits in between the other books I’m reading.
I couldn’t get through the first episode. It’s one of those stories that starts off making absolutely no sense, which can actually work if the characters are engaging. Wayward Pines does not have engaging characters. I haven’t completely condemned it though, I’ve put it in the…
Some of them hold up better than others but I too suffered through this disappointment when I re-read a few of his last year. Nostalgia and the speed with which they could be read got me through them easily though for most of them I doubt I’ll ever read them again. I still love Witch though even in all it’s dodgy…
Not 100% sure on this since I can’t find the source but while I read the same thing I also read filming was going to start at the same time as usual so sadly doesn’t really give enough time for an in depth return. They may be able to hold off on shooting some stuff to help close off Shaw’s story but likely not enough…

Oh I agree totally, the machine vs. samaritan is really the only story line the next season should focus on if it’s truly the last but I will always be sad if Shaw’s story never really gets tied up properly. Especially after the creators teased that they had an awesome comeback planned for Shaw when Sarah Shahi was…
God I love Shaw. The reduced episode order for the next and sadly probably the last, season of PoI makes me sad because it’s probably not enough time for the actor to be ready to come back and no more Shaw is a very sad thing.
