Girl, me too. I had the biggest crush on Bale. I also generally just tend to like darker-haired men.

In Carrie’s case, yes, self-centered...and immature. Being hung up on a not-so-nice guy who strings you along and refuses to commit is the kind of thing that a well-adjusted woman should grow out of by the time she hits her 30s, imho.

I forgot about Smith. He was incredibly attractive, and obviously physically beautiful as well as nice, although for a long-term relationship I’d take Harry any day of the week.

I always hated that. As in, Miranda is a Harvard-educated lawyer so she must be the worst looking of the lot, har har har. Look how original we are! And in fact, Cynthia Nixon is an attractive woman (the hairstyle she had in earlier seasons did her no favors, although her styling got more attractive as the show wore

So much this. When I was in my 20s, I couldn’t really understand it, but as I have gotten older, I realized that Harry is the most attractive of all because he’s such a mensch. Aidan also, which is why I couldn’t stand how badly Carrie treated him.

There’s a great Cold War era term that is very apropos lately: the useful idiot. Although Trump appears to have the reasoning skills and attention of a toddler, and although he often says and does things that send everyone scrambling to limit the damage from the fallout, as long as he carries water for the Republicans

Yeah, I mean, I enjoyed the film despite some of the more questionable scenes, but it’s certainly not a good film in the critical sense. That one scene, however, could fit right into an award-winning film. Laura Linney was also great, although her story line was complete sh*t.

I have. Fabulous movie.

I am still going with my conviction that it is always, ALWAYS, about the money. That’s why I scoff when conservatives talk about the “liberal” media. That is a fallacy - the media is not liberal, it’s corporatist, and all the networks care about, at the end of the day, is their bottom line. They brought Roseanne back

So she basically got a little toasted and spilled the tea...to the worst possible person, essentially eviscerating her relationship with both Duchesses (and therefore, all the good press and sales she no doubt would have continued to enjoy through their continued patronage). She might be a great designer, but that is

That scene where Emma Thompson goes to her room to compose herself is the most well-acted, heartbreaking scene in the entire movie.

Epic.

I was also just coming here to say this. If he’s not Sinatra’s kid, I’ll eat my hat.

Nobody could give a side-eye like Prince. Although my father came close when he was alive.

It’s not that bad. You’ll get used to it. I adore London - would move back to the U.K. in a heartbeat if the opportunity presented itself.

I was going to say, I have no idea who Roland Murray is. Now it all makes sense!

I’d temper that optimism. It’s hard to get a jury to convict on sexual assault charges where the incident in question happened years ago, the two people knew each other, etc. Essentially, it becomes a “he said, she said” argument, and jurors are typically reluctant to convict if there is anything about such a case

Which is why I don’t watch much of their programming. Too twee for me.

For me it was when Hogan started going, “brrrrrrr, brrrrrrr” and waiving his hands. Hysterical.

I’m with your gf. My husband and I started watching this last night and both of us were dying when we got to the flatulence part. Haven’t laughed that hard in some time.
