Yeah, I mean, I enjoyed the film despite some of the more questionable scenes, but it’s certainly not a good film in the critical sense. That one scene, however, could fit right into an award-winning film. Laura Linney was also great, although her story line was complete sh*t.

It’s hard to get a jury to convict on sexual assault charges where the incident in question happened years ago, the two people knew each other, etc. Essentially, it becomes a “he said, she said” argument, and jurors are typically reluctant to convict if there is anything about such a case…
