"21 Jump Street" era Depp. No comparison to what he is like today.

I'm 31 as well, and I'm with you. I think we just caught the tail end of Gen X, so we identify more with Gen X icons like Ryder, Debb, Ethan Hawke, etc.

Um. Watch an episode or two of 21 Jump Street.

Oh, hahaha, I actually thought you were born after the 90s!

How old are you?

The funny thing is, I would never take him to be Greek and I can usually spot a Greek person a mile away (and I of all people should not stereotype since I do not look stereotypically Greek at all). Just goes to show that one shouldn't make assumptions.

Umm, there's nothing really offensive about togas (not to mention that Greeks did not wear them, but Romans did). As a person of Greek (and a bit of Roman) descent, I'd have no problem going to a toga party. What I find more offensive is the fact that the word "Greek" is associated with some very horrible fraternities

Actually, it's only recently that (darker-skinned) Greeks and Italians could pass for white. When southern Italians and Greeks (who tend to be darker) first started coming over to this country, they were definitely discriminated against and not thought of as white. I know some Greeks who actually call white Americans

Same here. No grand proposal story, really. He told me he wanted to marry me, I told him I wanted the same thing, we had a few more conversations about it and several months later went shopping for a ring together. Done.

I agree. She's a total brat and she has made her bed, despite being given multiple chances to redeem herself. She's a lost cause.

That may be true, but Lohan also makes herself an easy target. If she was serious about getting her career on track, she'd just stay home.

Seriously? What an asshole. It's good that you had so much restraint - I would have had a hard time not throwing my drink at her and starting a brawl, five guys or no.

Ok, Carrie Underwood is cute and talented, but there is no comparison to Julie Andrews. Sorry, there just isn't.

Except that it's apparently still the number 3 show on primetime TV, despite all the drama, so as far as the suits are concerned, it's not over.

Bars in New York are open until 4 a.m. every day. And yes, those of us who live in the city tend to prefer to go out on weeknights rather than weekends because, as Fuck_God mentioned, on the weekends the city is flooded with bridge & tunnel folk as well as tourists. Not sure how bad the tourist situation is in

That is seriously screwed up, but unfortunately, I am not surprised. I'm just glad I don't work in that industry anymore. The only thing I would ever go back to would be bartending because I like shooting the shit with people.

It wasn't a fancy-schmancy place - just a nice restaurant with a casual atmosphere. We served steaks, seafood, pasta, and a banging breakfast. We always had lines out the door for Sunday brunch.

Perhaps about the food, but not about allowing their children to run amok in the restaurant, creating a safety hazard and also ruining other diners' night out.

Everyone involved in the Kardashian-Humphries saga needs to just go away.

Haha, thanks! We got out of it some time ago, and none too soon, I think. Judging by the behavior of a lot of people I see (particularly those with kids) out and about, I don't think we'd be able to deal, frankly.
