What I learned is we’ll have games with more shadow and lighting effects. Hope you’ve all upgrade to 4KTVs by now.

wow that gameplay trailer for valhalla sure had a whole lot of gameplay going on...
Hi its me again, here to point out that still isn’t a gameplay trailer for valhalla :p there were salty enough in the viewer chat about it come on throw some shade!!
I mean, I’m not entirely opposed to it, provided I can put it on autopilot.
Settlement building “focus” isn’t my thing. If it’s streamlined and not entirely necessary I’ll be ok with it. If it’s mandatory, and I have to keep refortifying these settlements or defend them from invaders as a major gameplay feature, I’m really iffy. It’s not my cup of tea.
I actually like the Viking setting but, how have we still not gotten a feudal Japan game yet lol.
I actually really disliked the AC series until I played Odyssey and Origins. I think them pivoting into a more RPG-type game brought me in in a way the first games never could for some reason.
It’s taken almost all of the enjoyment out of discussing media online. Rabid hoards of hyper-entitled fans are the worst.
Preach! You perfectly summed up how I have felt about every last knee jerk reaction on the internet about video games in the past couple years. From people bringing out the pitchforks over RE3make’s play time to declaring FF7 Remake dead before we even have another installment in our hands due to its ending, I’ve been…
Can we just delete fandoms from the internet instead? The consensus that is metastasizing around this game already is so childish and insufferable. People have such an unhealthy relationship with artists and writers these days; no open mindedness, no willingness to consider different angles on a given theme or…
I hear you on xcom though. Such a great game, but at some point you just get tired of missing on a point blank shotgun that was 99%. It’s just piss poor design.
That Mario Kart analogy might be the worst analogy that I have ever heard or read.
Anyone who is a fan of FFVII knows what it is. Anyone who is not won’t know the difference; to them it will just be the first game in a series, same as any other.
There’s some irony in saying you won’t pay $60 for a quarter of a game, when $60 is way below what companies should be charging for a game, based on Demand and inflation.
I don’t have any respect for any one who tell other people how to have fun and spend their own money either... but whatever.
I want this as a physical copy. Decades from now, I want to be able to play it even without the company’s existence, and I don’t trust my digital copy will be there when the time comes.
What? I think this is the dumbest take I’ve read in a while.
Very true. This seems like most 3rd party developers are going to say “Design it for PS5, port to the new Xbox, and we’ll figure out how to downscale it to 720p for Switch in the 8 months after launch."
You're not being a stickler, you're being rude. And you don't "hate to," or else you wouldn't have followed it up with the "real fans" dig. All you had to say was hey, why not call it the full name Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, or just The Road Warrior. Be nice.
