Should sell a lot. Actually has more ground clearance than my FX4 F-150. I like my wife's Outback, but the real thing that handcuffs it offroad is the CVT. Shame they couldn't change that. Don't get me wrong, the CVT isn't terrible doing daily driver duty, but it ain't exactly what I want when the pavement goes away.

While this could very well be a scenario where the MINI was hidden the whole time, I have a general question about the drivers of large trucks: is there an informal hierarchy among them, like is a 50' interstate trailer hauler considered higher up the ladder than a dump truck driver? I ask because IME, tractor trailer

It’s like when people buy a place under the flight pattern of the local airport and then bitch about the jet noise.

While I generally find the “all gentrification is evil” narrative pretty limited, to me this is just called: Do Your Research. Figure out what happens in a neighborhood, decide whether or not you’d be happy to live there, and then sign your lease accordingly. Don’t show up and mess with the lives of the people who

Tesla claims it will not be doing anything nefarious with the data

It seems like any “operating in reverse” rule should come up against “blocking traffic for a half hour and delaying your route” rules.

Its accounted for, its just a calculation of consumer expectations, packaging and cost. they COULD build enough clutch to fully lock the unit, but:

Yeah... it would be a real shame if Star Citizen’s release were delayed by a week.

In her case, AutoPilot probably saves a life or two every time she gets behind the wheel.

Hold on a minute...you’re talking about a few THOUSAND complete idiots as one “side” in our two-party system??? Trump got 74,200,000 votes. Also, keep in mind that everyone voted BEFORE the capitol riot. VERY FEW Republicans support what happened in D.C., Qanon, or any of that stupid shit.

The system is past broken, it’s a total shit show. They bill insurance companies insane amounts for a pittance of service and they still require you to pay deductibles that are pretty much what the actual service should have cost. Try having any minor surgery even with insurance and you will find out.

How would someone get relevant data for this?

The entire stock market is fake money being propped up by quantitative easing that is only really going to the investor class. If all of that money actually started circulating we might even get some inflation. If there’s anything 2020 has done, is drive that point home.

Tesla’s stock is a bubble, but that doesn’t mean that the company isn’t around for the long haul.

Wind farms also tend to be places where it’s........windy........

So nobody makes a viable electric car yet (assuming you won’t be able to rent a gasoline powered car for long trips), charging infrastructure basically doesn’t exist outside of major cities, power plants can barely keep up with current demand, and the raw materials for sufficient batteries may not exist at all.

The fact that so much of Massachusetts infrastructure was built when walking and horses were the primary means of transportation is a major issue now with gasoline cars, I can’t wait to see how they try to deal with electric cars. Like you said, a very large percentage of Mass residents live in apartments with no off

This is just virtue signaling.

Not so fast. Toyota’s electronic traction system is very rudimentary, but the next gen systems being used by Land Rover and Ford right now are very, very convincing. I’ll take the electronics on my Ranger over an actual front locking diff.
