Most manual cars will cut fuel shortly past redline.

You mean the ceramic stove top?

I’m not so sure what the big deal is with windows in the doors. Hasn’t almost every car ever made had windows in the doors??

Also keep in mind that the engines are stressed members - ie, part of the chassis of the car. Try to save a bit of space here or there by making this or that thinner.... didn’t end well. Vibrations and flexing were wreaking havoc early on, as far as I recall.

These “power units” as formula one calls them, are made up of a combustion engine, an mgu-h (motor/generator unit - heat), an mgu-k (motor/generator unit - kinetic), an energy store, control electronics, and a turbocharger (which is attached durextely to the mgu-h).

“That Dyson’s going to make a battery that can run 500 miles on a single charge?”

1992 Jetta - 1.8l, manual transmission. Car had a fantastic intake / exhaust noise to it (stock). Not loud, but unique. Could distinguish it coming from quite a distance.

I doubt he can wheelie all the way down Younge Street.... An 1896 km wheelie would be insane.

I think the loons call this the “big oil conspiracy avoidance module”

I feel like coming to a complete stop in it’s lane is not a very safe way to deal with things if the driver isn’t able / willing to take over. I feel like it’d be safer if the car just kept travelling at 37 mph and made its way off the road / onto the shoulder to stop.

Looks like a triple square. Didn’t know Mitsubishi used them too. Thought that was a German thing.

Car looks fantastic from all angles except the rear. Still looks like a pig from the rear.

Buy it, gut the electric drive, swap in a inline 6 with headers sticking right out one side of the engine bay and individual throttle bodies sticking out the other.... Oh, that’d look good.....
