Speed limit. Otherwise if it is safe, I drop down to 35-40 MPH.

Official policy is no phones in the car at all. So yeah, she was an asshat.

Ha! I'm on the other side of the country from you, but if I ever get over there it sounds good to me. I missed the old show!

They regularly change the fleet out. I'd say each car can get around 50K on them before switched out. Most are locals. Some, like me, travel to new areas for a little bit better pay.

It's a backlog of data. While this neighborhood is being captured, there is so much to work on and upload. So by the time they get to upload your area, 6 months or more have gone by.

Either there was an issue just discovered, or it was such as high-traffic area on Streetview it would be updated. Otherwise, the higher-ups decide that, I'm not entirely sure why they request the same area again.

It depends. If I'm in a good mood, probably. Otherwise if I'm stressed or stretched for time, no.

When the car is in a town, word usually spreads quickly. But no, I don't leak info purely so my job stays simple and I simply have a job.

What's the book about?

Matt, way ahead of you. I've been a fan since Garage419.

Usually 6 months-year. It all depends on when the data was uploaded and reviewed, as well as how busy the area is.

I see more ass driving than I do on /GoneWild.

Thanks :(

It started out as a temp job, but I got to stay. When winter comes, most likely I'll be traveling somewhere else to film.

Just however it is decided to claim the data quota that day, mostly pure preference on the driver.

We use other cars as well, not just the Impreza. But good question! I'm not one to hoon and brag about it ;)

Tough one. Sometimes as little as 45-50 when I did NYC. Other times, close to 300-400 when I have to go to another state to shoot.

Usually 6 months to a year depending on the quality and needs of the users.

Technically, I'm not employed by Google. It's a 3rd party company Google contracted. I got the job from a craiglist ad.
