That’s a disingenuous spin on the situation.  It’s the goal vs no-goal that’s the most important call.  VAR is just there make it right.  And without VAR we would spend the same amount of time watching players and managers argue with the officials about whether it was the right call.

Saw it last night.  It was enjoyable and not even remotely as bad as the critic reviews would have you believe.  Not great, but enjoyable.
