I’m sure this article will get quite a few responses like “YES. THIS.” but really, half of sports media is criticizing other sports media.

10 ways to give your man a better hand job (cosmo and the like) or Labron James going to the Lakers? It does sound very similar in content.

Nobody has ever called sports media a scam?  Nobody?  Ever?

Or just do as I do and ask for as much work as you can possibly manage, make sure you are completing more items of work per day than any of your colleagues and if asked to do something ridiculous, just say, no. Can’t do it. Too busy.

If someone offers you a shit sandwich, you eat it, smile, and ask for another.

As a man, I have to ask, why the hell would you volunteer for some shitty task? I go to work, do my job then get paid. I’m not there to organise parties for people or collect money for their leaving present. If you want me to do that, stick it in my contract as one of my duties and make sure you pay me.
I have no idea

Don’t volunteer for anything at work. If you get paid for it, do it. If you don’t get paid for it, don’t do it. It’s a damn job not a charity, if they want someone to clean out the supply closet they can damnwell get a janitor to do it, the administrative assistant can organize the office party because it’s part of

Nice article, but I need pictures. I need to see the breasts pre-infection, then, lightly flecked with spots, then in their full “burst and crusted over” state, and finally, fully healed, but with scars. A shot of them in the oatmeal and mauve bras (with visible nipples) would be a nice bonus.

As a manager of a large, diverse IT team I disagree with this. The people who are willing to take on the “thankless” tasks are the ones that I notice and reward. This is 100% dependent on your environment, your job and most importantly your management and executive team.

Aimee, you are sexist. Finish high school before you give people poor advice.

Well, I mean, I didn’t introduce the probability equation. It exists whether you are aware of it or not. I agree on this: the volunteer study design is essentially a game like poker, which includes the players’ reckoning on the likelihood of different outcomes - the probabilities.

If you’re a man who never volunteers, think about why, and push yourself to do it more. Step up when it comes to things like organizing, collecting money for events, following up on details.

Bad journalism is bad and should be called out. Thanks.

Your idea about the study is wrong tho. Volunteering is the losing strategy for a rational individual participant. If you do nothing, you have a 2/3 chance of getting a dollar, and a 1/3 chance of getting $2.

Two major things.

still needs to be done by someone. Tasks like organizing the office holiday party

This is good advice in general, not sure why you would only recommend women follow it. Yes, let’s combat sexism with more sexism.

Volunteering is something one does for the less fortunate in their spare time. It is not something done at one’s place of employment unless, and only, if some type of compensation is clearly attached to it.

The logic behind this study is so inherently flawed it’s not even funny. I would posit that women clicked to volunteer more because they simply used smart logic to deduce that getting $1.25 for doing something is better than getting $1, regardless if others would get more because of it. Whereas I’m assuming more men
