3500 pounds, 414 hp, 16 mpg. $81k for a ten year old VW group product. After owning a 2001 Jetta TDi moneypit, expensive and fragile parts. ND

The Gallardo is one of the ugliest lambos ever made, why trade for that???  This sounds like a poser talking and judging by the grungy look of the cars interior it was used and abused.  ND

Some people don’t care what other people think of the vehicle they drive.

Don’t.

Now this is an interesting conundrum because I see these being driven fairly often, I like the car, but the zed 4 is over shadowed by the Supra at this point and I forget it even exists until I see one and even then I’m like “oh yea that’s BMW’s thing”. And then gets overshadowed some more whenever I see the much more

As a car company in competition with Tesla, why the hell would you give the CEO of Tesla your advertising and marketing material months in advance? And also give him access to scheduled announcement tweets, customer service DMs, etc, etc. You’d be helping him conduct corporate espionage and give him the ability to

I think the idea behind this, is if you have a diesel vehicle, you likely know you have a diesel vehicle and know to always put diesel in it. On the other hand, I know a lot of people that drive gasoline cars that may not even know the diesel exists, or why there is a green handle on the station.

Detuned from the factory, then charge you more money to turn on the thing that is already there. I hate this trend. But people will continue to buy into it, creating a demand, and increasing profit for the automakers.

I differ. The wheels, in modern context, are relatively discreet and hold fidelity to the originals. Certainly they’re better than those faux wide whitewall dubs showing up on ’50s and ’60s restomods today to simulate the old-school look.

Came here to bitch about this, take the star

I wish I could star this more.

Dilly Dilly!!

While flipping through the New York Time’s archives I read an article from 1908 that Ford contemplated adapting the Model T to drop fake horse shit all over the street to ease early adopter’s minds.

I’d configure it without dealer markups. Also, wish it was a wagon, but it’s a hatch, which is also good.
