True story. Customer goes elsewhere to save $20 bucks after spending hours trying to sell him a car. He then demands I show him how to use his Bluetooth and how to use his car. Told him to kindly fly a kite.

lol yeah it’s the millions of people who have to buy cars that choose to make it suck, independently from one another.
The car hobby is for everyone, not just those that can show up on Saturday at B-J with a Hawaiian shirt, a double cocktail, and trophy arm candy. This is a good reminder of that.
200mph with a check engine light.
Racin’ cars in a mud pit while simultaneously torturing animals for fun! USA USA USA!
The only way to know for sure who has the best price is to do your shopping from the comfort of your phone or computer and compare several quotes in writing. However, that process is most effective when it is done within a few weeks time.
I’m really more of a Qvale Mangusta guy. CP
I’d say that if someone from an Audi service department wants out of this car, there’s probably a reason.
So lets get this straight, guy is an Audi tech and is trying to sell the car claiming it needs repairs that he himself should be able to do in less than a day for not an astronomical amount of money depending where he shops. But instead of spending a Saturday and doing it making it instantly easier to sell the car…
It’s probably a combination of “Oh boy! The OT from this job is gonna buy me a new boat!” and “Ugh... the OT on this project will probably be enough to buy me a new boat...”
Someone wants a private seller to give them a 90 day warranty? Yeah bro, let me go upstairs and check with my “sales manager” and see what we can do.
According to the pictures in the ad, they were asking 10 grand for it. Now the price is half of that? Sheeeeeeeeeeit.
Once the seller acts like pointed out in the article, it is an automatic CP for me. The work is not scary and somewhat expected on something this age.
As a kid in the late 60s and early 70s I read Car And Driver because my hero, radio personality Jean Shepherd, wrote for them. I also appreciated “Ed,” the guy who wrote replies to the letters to the editor, with what later came to be known as “snark.”
Found the Trump guy.
What? One of those, “watch me drive around in this car from a low angle vent mounted iPhone video” and “let’s do a walk around” without ever opening the hood? All the while the host is providing vague descriptions of new tech that clearly isn’t understood by them. Those kind of walkarounds?
Once THE BEST automotive magazine by far, CAR AND DRIVER has been steadily declining for at least a full decade, with the departure of long term pens Patrick Bedard and Brock Yates serving as the impetus.
All I ask is that we employ Disney Animatronics® to keep John Davis alive as long as possible because MotorWeek.
Times 1 million...listening to some asshat describe how the rear windows go up and down - please just shoot me
Our digital future is so fucking dumb and annoying.
