I guess it looks well cared for, although it appears to be wearing no-name tires which always makes me wonder about the quality of care. I guess in LA you don’t need to worry about wet traction very much.
Looks like a not particularly attractive car with no notable performance traits trying to cosplay as a Grand National.
I was going to say, wasn’t the whole Grand National “logo” because of the turbo? The fender and trunk lid have it on there too.
The Onion led me to believe he has a Trans Am.
I’ve always been drawn to the “unloved” old cars that I think I are still cool designs and even cooler because they don’t have the following of Tri-5s, 32 Fords, muscle cars, etc.
How many Raptors and TRXs actually head off road? Don’t count Chad heading into an empty field and doing donuts because he wants to show his pals how great the truck is off road.
Like the Porsche Cayenne discussions here. The BMW X5 M50 starts $9k more than the Acura. Probably need to check a few thousand worth of options to outfit it like the MDX.
$76k. Probably as close as you can get. Who knows if the dealer won’t try and mark it up though.
It’ll be interesting to see how it actually affects EV sales. With no real incentive make the EVs cheaper, and a $42500 vehicle still isn’t super affordable (I don’t care what the average price of a new car says, most people aren’t making enough money for that).
I agree. If they wanted to put a carrot out there, incentivize the industry to make less expensive EVs. $55k-$7500 is still not “affordable” for the average American with a household income of $67k/year. And if you make less than $150k a year and are buying a $80k SUV....again, not the best financial decision in the…
I get a Madden itch every year, the free GamePass version is good enough. And when I play that GamePass version, I’m never kicking myself for not buying it.
You can keep your Ferrari wannabe body kit, automatic transmission and salvage title, even if it was $8,500.
Just because you can get approved for a loan or a lease, it doesn’t mean it is “affordable”.
Rich guys who will just park it in their garage with 5 miles on it next to their Ford GT with 3 miles on it. Start making the “1 of 30" plaque for the display at Barrett Jackson in 10 years.
I don’t see buyers of this, the Escalade or any other hulking SUV with 500 hp worrying about fuel economy too much. Maybe they’d rather spend less on gas, but they aren’t exactly choosing between a full tank and groceries.
Yeah this is neat and all, but let me know when the 500 mile range model or the “5 minutes to charge” model comes out.
I want a hatchback or wagon. They largely don’t exist, so I guess I need to consider CUVs because they are the closest thing.
Yes, I was going to say, I can get a 10-year warranty on a Kona N. Frankly I’d trust Hyundai quality without it before Dodge or Alfa Romeo.
Yeah, it might be an interesting package but it is a Chrysler/Alfa Romeo product. Need that Maserati 10-year warranty.
