Read an article on this yesterday. Refining capacity is set to drop. There are no buyers for existing refineries that companies want to offload. So while you could make some short-term profit, companies seem to realize it isn’t a good long-term play.
Are these really that much more capable than a Suburban or Expedition “Max” built in the last decade? Not that those are cheap on the used market either, but you might be able to do better than $19k for a 200k mile example.
