Oh... sorry.  the window for my taking corrections closed 15 minutes after submission, so I’ll continue to spell it Premiere.

You’re right. Unlike the NFL, it looks like the Premiere League goes through the entire lineup of teams playing each other before they start over. In the NFL, it’s not unusual for teams in the same division (who play each other twice in a season) to have both of their matchups almost back to back, and many times

I can see how it easily could have been read that way.  If I were writing this as an article, I’d go back and revise the whole thing, lol.

You’re right!

I’m a dumb American. Yes, I meant injury time. Thank you.  However, the person who called me out was commenting on my interpretation of how the Premiere League table works, not end of game semantics.  I maintain that he or she doesn’t know what THEY are talking about.

West Ham is up by two points in the standings. A win or a tie and they win the title.”

In this scenario, all West Ham has to do is win or tie and they’d maintain their winning lead. The only outcome (in this scenario) where they don’t win the title is if AFC Richmond wins the game, gets the three points and leapfrogs

This is exactly how the Premiere League works. Everyone plays everyone else twice. Wins are worth three points. If you’re down by two points in the standings on the last game of the season and you’re playing the team ahead of you and you beat them, you leapfrog them by one point. What part of this doesn’t add up for

Nate’s arc will be as follows: West Ham and AFC Richmond will play somewhere around the two-thirds mark of the Premiere League season, and the Ted Lasso season. It’s all building up to this. Rupert wants only to stick it to Rebecca. It should be a rout. And it is. The Greyhounds win! Rupert is furious and all of his

I thought the episode was poo-peh.

I'm going to tie this in with a rumor from last week and say he's playing Ka-zar. Ka-zar is an obscure enough character that race-bending him will cause zero outrage.  How much more infinitely interesting will it be to have an Asian Tarzan?

I don’t mean as humanity.  We’ll never be past humans defaulting to terrible levels.  I’m talking about TV shows just instantly going to cartoon-ishly ridiculous systems of government, almost always led by someone who is unhinged or a sociopath and has everyone in town terrified.  Every town is some uniquely unhinged

How sad that we are now justifying teaching people, kids especially, NOT to acknowledge when other people are using terms of respect. I couldn’t care LESS if you find it ‘hurtful’ to hear it. As a grown-up, who lives in a world filled with nearly countless types of people and traditions, it’s on YOU to be the big boy

Well, yeah, that’s all obvious. I thought Sam and Henry was just fine. I’m talking about the cartoonish mini-boss puffed up stories that take up way too much time of the show when they ultimately have very little to say. Did we need ALL of that backstory to get that she was upset about her brother being killed? If

After this week’s episode, I finally identified why this show is just a’ight for me. It’s that I have ZERO investment or interest in any of the Boss enemies. The show spent a good chunk of time with Melanie Lynsky’s character and that whole group these past two episodes, and for what? She was sad about her brother so

Now that both creative staff and cast have a full season under your belts, and have been able to see the (non-toxic) reaction from fans, what sort of shift or tweaks are you noticing in how your characters are being written? And is there a shift in how you are thinking about playing your roles in season two?

There’s definitely a Rubicon you have to cross where you decide if you’re going to just go with the ridiculous world that’s been set up. Mine was after season two. I crossed that river and remain happily entertained by the increasing insanity of the Karate Kid universe.

Agree with every word of this, but also, every other film in the running for BP that year (not so fast, Quiz Show) is iconic and beloved and worthy of both BP status and icon status. The ULTIMATE value of a film isn’t how technically well it was made, but how it achieved its purpose of transporting and delighting the

When will you people finally realize that there are no bad ideas, just bad execution? The Cobra Kai guys are the princes of “That sounds like a bad idea” and it turning out to be entertaining far, far, far beyond it had any right to be. The KINGS of this are Lord and Miller. 21 Jump Street. Lego Movie. Animated
