I've seen that happen when the PS lines get swapped going to the pump

It's always tempting to make losing prototypes the "greener grass" in retrospect, whether it's the YF-23 or Senior Peg. They don't have to suffer the realities of coming into production and working in a military fleet. Also, don't forget that one of the main reasons the YF-23 failed was it's lack of high

The Tumansky R-15 is one of the most ridiculous engines ever made, and the information available about it is barely believable. Each one produced more than 24,000 pound-feet of force at afterburner, and the MiG-25 had two of them. It could propel the plane to over 90,000 feet, and to Mach 3.2.

If you think about it, that's not very realistic. You've got travel, facility rental, timing equipment and its certification, plus the skilled people needed to run that equipment.

I don't think they charge for the documentation of the record, but you have to pay for the recording equipment, facilities, etc.

Do you remember if the warnings were for the county or did they identify Daytona Beach specifically? Usually NWS is not that specific with their warning areas; hence the value local weather stations play in getting specific info out to the public.

Uh, yeah. Who would you expect to document the results of the data than the company that recorded the data, and who would you expect to pay the company to record the data?

So, TWC is slamming NASCAR for not issuing an evacuation order when a severe thunderstorm warning was issued that DIDN'T include the track? From reading the story it seems that as soon as the track was included they acted. Or am I missing something?

He certainly tried as hard as he could to start 'em all. And, gotta say, Danica was running a good clean race until she got turned into the wall.

Double yellow lines, methinks I see

Nope, she handles, IMO, better than before. I've got an LS1 '99 NB, and before when the car understeers under power you just have to open the wheel, lift the throttle, anything to plant the front. With the LS1 you have the torque to bring the back end around, sometimes WAY too much around, but you can get a lot more

Engages/Disengages the rev-match feature.

And this one, because it's MINE!
