I think for most people, they don't mind the ads, and the extra sound quality doesn't matter to them. So they're happy with the free Pandora service. Especially now that there is no limit of hours per month anymore.

Unfortunately, it really doesn't. They're basically taking what should be Firefox 4.4 or at best 5.1 and calling it Firefox 8. Most of these large number updates don't deserve large numbers. I love Firefox, but this new update numbering scheme is stupid.
This app is pretty much terrible. It's really difficult to do something as simple as add a new snippet, and there is virtually no support anywhere. The program opens a document called "tutorial" that doesn't explain how to do anything. In what universe is that considered a tutorial?
I agree that our empathy should be more global partly, but I also think we've lost some of our sense of community with television and internet all around us all the time.
Okay, I'm all for DIY and saving money, but did he take a look on Craigslist before building this thing? There is a huge glut of exercise machines on Craigslist in my city for extremely cheap, and I've never had any problem talking people down either. I can't imagine the cost of the wood would be less than a used…
Me. I have a central computer set up in the basement that acts as a server for the laptops in the house as well as a home theatre pc for our HDTV. It's on almost 24x7.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. I always pull the spark plug wire when I'm working on a mower, and I've done PLENTY of things with my hands. It's just good common sense.
Agreed. I'm sad I missed the nominations as this is SUCH a good app.
Is it a whining sound that changes pitch when the car goes faster? You can get a whine eliminator for that.
Apple's Mac 101
Congrats!
Probably because people potentially spent a bunch of money on tracks and then try to delete their account, then come crying back to Apple to reinstate it when they lose their tracks to a hard drive crash or something.
Site's down. I think they got nailed by the PC Mag and Lifehacker 1,2 punch.
The ONLY one? Really? Even the ones that used a lot of the same exercises that Crossfit uses long before it even came along. That's really weird.
I seriously don't understand what people are doing with their jailbreaks to cause "instability.". My iPhone has always been rock solid after jailbreaking, with no noticeable instability or slowdowns at all. My battery life is maybe just slightly less, but I charge every night, so that's no big deal.
This is probably the worst advice I have ever read in my entire life. Run every day? I could have just stopped there since that's already ridiculous.
I guess this is okay, but the slim width of the middle column keeps the prices from showing unless you click every item individually, which is a complete deal-breaker for most of my Craigslist searching. No thanks.
Wow, good luck with the tip on Photoshopping your plane ticket. I'm sure that will go over really well.
Too bad they still can't get their crap together. I'm using a Google Apps for Domains account, and it wants me to choose my background image from Google cloud storage, rather than being able to upload. It asks me to log in to my Google account, but of course, my Google Apps account isn't a REAL Google account.
For now there is. Apple has a way of selectively removing these type of options after a few update cycles.
