So I’m interested in getting this at some point, but I’m confused about the mechanics of the upgrade. Particularly for someone like myself who does not own the original PS4 version, how does this work exactly? Do I buy the PS4 version on my PS5 and choose the option to “upgrade” it? Is there just a selectable “PS5

Was having a mild revelation recently that I really enjoy the Arkham series of games, like more than I realized. Have been playing some games with minor puzzles lately, and found myself longing for the Riddler stuff, fun collectibles and puzzles, particularly the more elaborate ones in City and Knight that really made

Mr. Zurkon does not like your ranking, measly furball!

This is in my backlog and I’ve been wanting to get to it soon. I played HR finally a little over a year ago and it was a lot of fun.

Such a great series, it’s just so easy to pick a title up and have fun. I regret that after playing the first game back in the day, I wasn’t overly inspired to check out the sequels until finally picking up the HD Trilogy some years back. Turns out I had missed on some great games.

Regular me: this is awful, these people suck, someone should do something, etc.

Selfish me: soooo, we’re still good for Witcher 3 on PS5 right?

Not to defend the Eden Prime thing, but the shot of Sovereign also bugged me anyway, because the background looked so murky and foggy. It reminded me of old Dynasty Warriors games when you couldn’t see more than 10 feet in front of your character. The color worked for the tone, but it just seemed too foggy.

These

Not specifically related to this game, but PS5 and online in general.... but I had no idea until yesterday that the DualSense has a built-in mic that is on by default. So basically, dummies like me who did not research the controller beforehand, have a hot mic in their hands that is sending their voice and environment

I’m excited! A while back I made a post about an informal poll I cast amongst friends about the first game: whether ME1 should be given any QoL overhauls to improve it, or preserved as it is, “untampered with.” Most friends agreed it could use some improvements. I ended it by saying I agree, but I’d be ok with either.

That’s a good point, didn’t even think about that. Hopefully that would be the case, because I’d love to see a little more for this series. Beenox has a history with some of the older titles also, and their ports across systems, so it’s possible.

And yeah, will be interesting to see what VV does now, but sad to think

Does this mean hopes are slim for extra remasters? 1+2 was fantastic, and I really would love to see them give that treatment to THPS3, my personal favorite in levels, design, and soundtrack. Plus I think there’s a growing number of fans who still want to see THUG get remastered, and I’m one of them. Haven’t played

Hey, sounds intriguing. I’ll definitely give it a look! I kinda need a new show anyway.

This moment made me remember how great Bayek’s voice actor was. Just hearing him read that note gave me such a warm feeling. I really should replay that game at some point.

All good points! Yeah the Mako parts are... ughh, tolerable for me? For others not so much, I’m sure. But yeah, I would gladly take a neater UI overall and some other improvements like that. I hope they can deliver on some of them at least.

Oh yeah, I do enjoy that aspect, truth be told. Not that I hate ME2-3's system but yeah, I miss that haha.

Mass Effect 2 is fantastic. Never having played the series before as a PS3 person (when it was originally Xbox exclusive), starting with ME2 was a great entry still to hook you. Masterfully done and I’ve played through it probably like 12 times. And YES, the DLC including Shadow Broker is wonderful for extra content.

This one has been bugging me (no pun intended) for a bit. I got it mostly on the strength of The Witcher 3 and the quality there, despite the fact that I find Witcher’s fantasy setting far more appetizing than the cyberpunk one. I still liked the premise quite a bit though and was thinking of playing it soon, but...

Whe

Hahaha, wow, are you me? I do the same thing sometimes, that voice announcing the characters was just so iconic for some reason. In the versus mode, Dauragon had a whopping I think 3-4 selectable forms, and you could select them all and the voice would overlay his name several times, it was hilarious.

This is one of those guilty pleasure games for me. I still have the PS2 disc and every once in a while, I’ll play it for a few hours. It’s a nice, fun romp. Just enough corniness and beat ‘em up fun to satisfy for me.

The rift between devs and higher-ups here appears more tumultuous than I could have imagined. The devs really were abused with all the crunch, forced deadlines, and just outright lies.

I’m really eager for the PS5 upgrade for Witcher 3, but I don’t want it being built on all this BS. At least with that, they aren’t
