I ENDORSE THIS FRIENDSHIP.
What about Shirley MacLaine's response? She was sitting directly behind Ethan Hawke and her joyous reaction is also priceless. I bet there were a lot of people in that audience who were like FUCK YEAH ARQUETTE.
J. Lo: "Everyone!"
Patricia Arquette sobered up real quick and won the Oscar tonight for Best Supporting Actress for her performance…
She looks amazing.
& when they leave voicemails saying "it's MOM" like yeah I've heard your voice since the moment of my entry into this world
Lupita slaying in nothing but pearls and a smile
Yeah its such a fail on how technology works that makes it the quintessential Mom Move
I love the way moms everywhere SIGN their TEXTS....
A lot of the new, younger activists don't want Sharpton anywhere near them and actually ask him not to attend certain events.
Well the media has appointed Sharpton the official spokesperson but the protest community in general is far from uncritical of him.
Lots of awesome young activists have taken the reigns from Sharpton already, he (and the media) just doesn't know it yet.

What exactly is being mansplained here? He's quite rightly pointing out that men find it easy to slip into (or simply be in) patriarchal normative modes of thought when surrounded by nothing but other men, especially when dealing with a dynamic of power over others. Sounds to me like the OP even acknowledges his own…
Yeah right, because women aren't willing to work hard and compete. This is the mostly blatantly sexist comment I've read here in a long time. Way to go.
So why are men running the show?
My wife died last year at age 35. (Bear with me, totally not trolling for sympathy.)
This is so fucked up on so many levels, not the least of reasons being that there is no regard for the CHILDRENS' safety in all of this.
It is egregious enough that they aren't considering her, but even if we set that aside for a second, how could it possibly be emotionally healthy for those children to be contacted…
