I mean, that’s great that they want to avoid crashing, but I kinda feel like something like that should be announced *before* you go live so that you’re pissing off the players at least slightly less. Or just have a queue system that tells you how much time until you can get in.

EA apparently didn’t want to spend any of that wonderful revenue from microtransactions and loot boxes to adding more servers.

Ah, I didn’t know that they were licensed - usually, you see pictures pop up that make (most of) them out to be more fan-developed and produced (I think Vertex had a line of “garage kit”-like releases at one point?), so I assumed it was the creators/sculptors doing it without any official backing, with some of them

So, are “garage kits” illegal now (or were they already a bit dubious before this), or does it solely depend on what company's property you're working with?

I mean, I guess I’m not surprised, given how MCNs have been dropping their clients (i.e. YouTubers) left, right, and center over the past year or two. Leave it to a corporation to take the napalm approach.

I think there’s a case to be made for any direction.

If their plans don’t include a complete overhaul of Steam Direct in 2019, their plans are a disappointment.

The Vice City run was outstanding, especially with some of the unscripted moments that popped up by sheer luck of it being a sandbox kind of game.

I mean, they had to know what they were getting into when they hopped into bed with Activision, right? (Though, the same can be said for most mega publishers...)

That makes too much sense, so Ninty will never do it.

Japan is apparently getting the full 3, but the third is a game that was never localized. Which is a giant crock and just goes to show that this implementation (drip feed of only NES games) is just as dumb as it seemed, seeing as NoA can’t be bothered to even find a replacement (or just put the Japanese game up as is).

1) Save money up

As someone that’s dabbled with Magic, Pokemon, and the old defunct Harry Potter TCG, I’ll never understand how tournament-topping decks can get away with running 10 or fewer Lands/Energy/Lessons in total AND place well, even with other cards to search or recycle them. (The decks shown in the video hit around 20, which

Try the other way around - a bunch of older cards are way too busted in power, which is why there are multiple formats as well as banlists which exclude old cards.

In the world of executives and business though, it’s always someone else’s fault.

Ah yes, another illustration of the fact that, what, 90% of the big mega corporations that actually publish games are themselves shit and we were better off with developers doing their own thing, unshackled from bean counters that only see $s in front of their eyes, caring about nothing more.

Is it weird that I processed this as Firefly meets Fallout?

Quick, fund the artist to make this happen so that we can have something like Macross actually available without having to involve Harmony Gold.
