Until I see gameplay or get an actual explanation as to what “shared-world action-RPG” actually equates to, I’m going to remain skeptical, even with Schaefer heading the studio.

Hmm, sounds like this is separate from the new mobile game that’s coming out(/might already be out as I've lost track of when it was launching)...
I’ve never had these before, but they’ve giving me a strange urge to want to eat SnackWell’s Creme Sandwich Cookies.
This (and probably Fire Emblem) will likely be the thing(s) that force(s) me to buy a Switch, just because I’ll *want* to have and play them, despite how deep my backlog is already. It’s hard when there are so many great/cool games out there and you need to be responsible and not splurge money on buying them because…
It’s already out (except for PC), it’s just apparently not good at all (to the point that people are actively importing/downloading the previous game).
So, if I loved Demolition Racer on the Dreamcast, I'd probably enjoy this, right?
Oh, the irony.
*disc spinning/reading noises*
Wasn’t there a game in the past couple of years that “accidentally” made it so that the PS4 version was playing with other systems and people only figured it out because of Gamertags/User IDs? And, when it was found out, they (the dev) quickly unchecked the box that made that happen, meaning that it’s super easy to do…
How long before we can joke about Discord not making anything with “3" in the title?
I can’t wait for the next industry crash.
You can have a right to monetize traffic to your servers without being awful about how you do it. Auto-playing videos with ads at the beginning of them count as an awful way to do it.
Fandom is a dumpster fire, plain and simple.
I’m wondering if the formations thing is going to be a thematic evolution/iteration of the Dual Strike & Dual Guard / Attack Stance & Guard Stance system from Awakening/Fates or if it’s entirely 100% brand new...
I dunno, ciphers and puzzles and treasure hunts are fun, but it’s kinda unfair for people that live nowhere near the end point of the hunt. I don’t play Destiny, but if you lived in, say, California or, heaven forbid, internationally and had effectively zero opportunity to reach where the “prize” was, I’d imagine…
Pokemon Moon. Got tired of the railroading, the removal of Super Training was a step backwards, SOS Battles were a terrible decision, and Ultra Sun/Moon’s announcement was the last straw.
I want to hope that this gets localized, but Sega always finds a way to disappoint. Going in with sub-zero expectations.
I sincerely hope the sales meet Sega’s goals - I really would like the opportunity for a (re)release of the Sega Ages 2500 version of Dragon Force to possibly be a thing.
That’s Capcom, not Sega.
