The only major problem I found with Vista was that it was wrongly certified for Intel GPU based computers and 4300RPM HDDs both of them were inadequate for Vista. It was much more stable and secure compared to Win ME or even the non SP versions of XP.

People who defend the price compared to other high end Dell / Razer models, I say that the higher end PC models do come with GTX10X0 GPUs which are going to be much faster than MBP Radeon GPUs. Also Apple rarely offers the current Intel CPU lineup. It’s usually 2-3 generations behind at the same price point.
