XPS has issues too. I do love the XPS design. Hate the numpad keyboard that all 15+ laptops have.

There is no slim 17" laptop with a metal unibody design and good build quality. I currently have a 2011 Apple 17" unibody model and that comes closest to what I like but it’s aging.

Dell and HP build quality is abysmal. I have tried them before. I currently have a 17" Apple MacBook Pro 2011 model. Don’t like their smaller glossy retina screens.

I like the concept of a slim 17" ‘Workstation’ laptop for coders, web designers artists etc. But $2,200 + taxes is still too expensive for me. Need to water it down a bit further. I like Logitech’s designs but their quality is shoddy. Plastic keys feel cheap and flimsy. Keystrokes don’t feel nice. I don’t know about their mechanical keyboards tho. I would try a non-gaming wireless mechanical keyboard if they made it.

Where do you think the fees comes from? The applicants who will simply pass it to higher wages payed by employers and back to the consumer. This is government wastage.

It does not add jack shit to the process except long lines and tax payer burden. Most of the green card process is outdated and expensive for everyone except the lawyers and the corporate overlords. The GC process needs to be overhauled to be brought in the 21st century.

This was for marriage based GCs. Now employment based which is I think 140K per year!!!!
