Disclaimer - I’m not a Vin Diesel fan boy - he’s made some trash films, but to say that the FF wasn’t making big cash until Fast 5 is a bit of a reach. They were successful enough to make 4 movies before he appeared in the franchise. That’s like saying, the Bond films didn’t start making big cash until Daniel Craig…
