That really is. I saw that picture posted in the comments here after I made my comment. I may have found a 4 door pickup that I actually like.

I went with a crew colorado because the extended cab was a joke, and the zr2 couldn’t be optioned in a single cab long box. 1' of extra box would have allowed the dirt bike to have the tailgate up, but it is nice having a 4.5 person vehicle as my Datsun is only 2 person in the Z.

That’s an AEV Brute, they’ve been selling them for a few years, just super pricey so you don’t see them often.

That be a brute.

As a former automotive whitebody design engineer [different OEM], all I can say is this is definitely the real deal. The CAD files could be out of date, maybe a previous design stage, and most likely this won’t be the final design 100%, based on feedback from testing, simulation, suppliers, factory, but this is not an

Good news! Mini makes cars just for you.

This truck will be fantastic.

My Colorado is a crew cab with the short (5ish ft) bed, and honestly anything I’ve ever hauled that was too long for my bed would have required me to drop the tailgate even if I had the long bed option.

/asks people to stop complaining

Exactly, I’ve got the 5.5ft bed on my crew cab and have been completely satisfied with it. What cant it do? One less row of firewood?

I posted the same comment last week, seems nobody will every be happy. Plus lets face it, the intended target market for this vehicle is the person who wants a Wrangler pretty bad, but goes camping or needs to haul thing often enough that they buy a Tacoma or a full size truck intstead.

And by my brief research, it will still be the same length as the other compact pickups out there. Long for a Jeep, but not for a truck.

I wish my wife would complain that it’s “too long” :(

I want an SUV with with a bed. That’s why I bought a Sport Trac as my most recent purchase. I had a 2015 Focus, but, lo and behold, I needed to haul some things and I was SOL. So I got exactly what I needed. So far I’ve been able to haul a washing machine, a few hundred pounds of bagged dirt, and a couple large

I located some leaks of the assembly line:

All 1 one of your friends?

I drive a crew cab with the 5.5ft bed, and it’s perfect and allows me to carry things that wouldn’t be possible in an SUV (taller than the cab).

I am so excited about this.

People, stop complaining that this is “too long.”
