I really applaud GM for the Zr2. While Toyota went for minor suspension tweaks and stickers, the Zr2 has so much going on. I’m eager to see what Ford does with the incoming Ranger.

Knobs > Levers > Buttons > Onscreen anything. At least when it comes to using muscle memory.
Also, it looks like in order for him to properly use it (from the passenger’s seat even!) he is sort of bracing one part of his hand on the side of the screen for stability in manipulating the slider. Good luck operating these controls on any sort of bumpy road...
It is a slider, just a confusing one that’s hard to see with no clear visual or tactile feedback.
Does the Model 3 screen wash out in direct sunlight? That’s my main complaint with LCD-all-the-things in cars.
