I love a medium saddle brown or dark tobacco brown interior as well. Also I don’t mind the red inside the Rebel but would like a clean non tread seat like the other versions (similar to the 2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon interior).

Damn that looks nice. Still don’t love the grill but I bet you could swap it out pretty easy.

I think its done since its an off road variant. Less paint chips to worry about.

They gave numbers at the LA Auto show for the diesel in the 2019 Wrangler @ 260HP/442Tq which beats the new Ford Diesel, so its weird they are not giving the numbers for the Ram. My guess is it will be even better then that in the Ram Chassis.

I’m getting 13 in my JKU on 35s ;)

Totally agree

2500 update will be shown next year as a 2020 model. Although I don’t think you’ll get all the crazy 10K+ off incentives that you can get now on the current 2500/3500 ..... as I’m in the same boat as you.

I disagree with you on the Rebel grill as I think its looks a lot better then the Chrome versions. I do agree with you 100% on getting rid of the tread seats as I would just like a nice plain clean line leather interior.

Because you can’t get much Cooler then Sam Elliot.

I agree. Saw the spy shots and was like “meh” but the press photos make it look a lot better. I personally still don’t love the exterior grill and chrome of the standard models but love how the Rebel looks.... its just too bad you can’t get the clean laramie or limited interior inside the Rebel or the Rebel’s grill

I actually love the Rebel’s grill over the standard Chrome Unibrow version. I think it looks great. Now only if I could get the Rebel exterior with the limited interior.

Agreed. Also I would like to see the rebel version with a different black grill and no chrome unibrow.

Speaking of Tundras, when the are we getting the new one? I thought that was coming out this year too.

David don’t you think the Diesel numbers announced at the LA Auto Show for the 2019 JL Wrangler will apply for the 2019 1500? If so that puts the Ram at 260hp / 442tq, which bests the new Ford Motor..... however how that translates to payload/towing/mpg is yet to be seen. .... Guess we will find out at Detroit.

Rumor is MY19, but unlike with the US Manufactures there isn’t a lot of leaks on the Japanese cars. I would also assume the Tacoma might get something new to complete with the Diesel in the Colorado and the upcoming Wrangler based Scrambler.

LOL I have driven through snow covered fields to recover mountain snowmobiles that broke down. There is NO WAY IN HELL you wifes X3 could do that. X3 are glorified lifted cars (CUV).

I did, but no one is really going in depth on it. I saw on the TFL 0-60 video it looks like the side to side play is still there, but here was also on the gas in 4wd auto so wasn’t sure if was some pulling from the 0-60 sprint.

If you really want a 4 Runner wait for the redesign. Fingers crossed it has some engine choices like the Wrangler.

As a past E90 M3 owner who now has owned a JKU for the past 4 years and drives it daily I can tell you first hand you can’t compare a M4 with snow tires to a Wrangler in the snow. I can drive through pretty much any road condition I want, and I don’t have to worry about the vehicle. You can not simply say the same
