Obviously you do not know what your talking about. The guys that built this truck build Trophy Trucks for a living as well as have specialized in aftermarket long travel kits for Toyotas since the early 90s. They are well respected in the industry . I use to work for a competitor of theirs and I can tell you all

Umm no ... your wrong ... Hi Lift jacks are dangerous and tip over. Not something you want to worry about in desert racing when in a hurry. All the Trophy truck guys use pump jacks.

Not currently ... rumor has it new orders for the Raptor will not be filled till the end of 2017

The wider track width and more suspension travel when comparing stock to stock should give the Raptor an advantage. However this Tacoma’s suspension is anything but stock so Im curious to see the travel specs compared to the Raptor. Even if they are equal the width of the raptor is closer to that of the Trophy trucks

Unless they get some better motor options in the 4Runner and FJ replacement Im not interested. I’m so tired of underpowered SUVs. My old FJ was underpowered, and my JKU Wrangler has a hard time getting out of its own way. I thought about switching to a 4Runner but its the same slow V6, as alas I’m sitting on my hands

No removable top, no removable doors, no solid axel ... those (3) are base of what make the Wrangler great by most Wrangler owner’s standards.

Yea I really dont care about he bumpers and fenders as long as they are easy to remove, as mine will have aftermarket of both with some 37s on there.

Its going to be a separate vehicle. That quote was about the Grand Wagoneer from what I have read, and if you look at the full poster that this JL Wrangler image was pulled from is shows the Wagoneer in the line up next the Grand Cherokee.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. Maybe its a 4-door hood and he has a 2-door or the Rubicon has a different cowl? The weird part is the extra length. Other then that is seems the same. Even has the stops for the fold down windshield which makes me think its not a 2018 hood.

Wow didn’t know it was a GT500!

I just had a Pariot as a rental car this weekend in LA. Didn’t think it was bad at all. I’m 6'2" 160lbs. Also I was suprised at how well it did on gas: LA > HB > Anaheim Hills > HB > Costa Mesa >Irvine > Anaheim Hills > HB >LA all on 3/4 of tank which cost $25 to refill (beats the hell out of my Wrangler)

I agree with this. I think his statement is an over exaggeration. I visit Reno every year to go up to Tahoe and go boarding and its honestly a cool city that with the right development could be the next Denver.

Hey hey hey .... I would say thats the worst thing to come out of Reno

I was born and rised in southern CA but lived in Reno for a few years as a kid and Vegas the last 15 years and I can say there are good reasons to choose Reno over Las Vegas:

That thing really is awesome. Makes me want one.

Jeep Wrangler based pick up will give the Tacoma a run for its money. My guess for the same money as this TRD Pro you will be able to get the V6 Diesel and 8 speed, which IMO is a better buy. I know Jeep’s lack the reliability of the Toyotas, but Wranglers have amazing resale value as well.

I think my Wrangler and the Outback both have higher resale value. If your talking pickups only then I agree with you.

I love Toyota products but they alway feel undepowered. Its amazed me that the got rid of the V8 in the 4Runner and put in an underpowered V6. With Jeep putting the V6 Diesel and 8 speed in the Charokee and new Wrangler (both SUV and Pickup) they are going to need to step it up in the power department.

Yea thier mantra is you should be driving not drinking or eating

I was waiting for the Dip Spit Cup comment. Suprised it wasn’t said earlier
