Christie Brinkley-related and a follow-up to yesterday’s SI swimsuit news; I’m trying to figure out where on the awkward scale; “sexy photoshoot with one’s mom and half-sister” falls:

I have no insight on how things run at the top tiers but for all the shoots I’ve been a part of; it’s absolutely the art/creative director and her boss(es) that dictate the shoot theme. Models are worked on, dressed up, put into position, and given direction.

Not to pick on you specifically but I’m just not getting what was weird about the plot/story after the death of the sister?

I find the crash mat ones actually a little weirder, generally speaking, but I’m also easily distracted #glutegoals. There are also some beam shots where I’d like some insight from the photog and/or creative dir on their thought process.
