I think he's a pompous ass, not a thug, but I'm a niner fan. So, yeah.

No one gave SF a pass (here's a hint: no one calls in "San Fran" either). And no one gives LA a pass. Everyone fully admits that both teams have some rotten, thug gang member fans who occasionally ruin it for everyone. Just like every team has some rotten fans in every city.

And yet you'll give Yankee fans shit for saying the same thing and say something dumb like "DEY BOT DER TEAM!" Hypocrites.

Typical dumb Boston/New England response. The conversation goes something like this:

Yea, sorry, you don't know shit about suffering, although your attempt at appreciation is better than most in New England.

"Why is Deadspin so continuously anti-Boston in any shape or form. Even your dislike towards Bill Simmons is child like and nauseating."

Except that Niner fans didn't come rushing out to blab about what was already known by nearly all fans...

"to" true...

I don't think Belichick is evil, but he is most certainly an asshole.

That's San Francisco to you. And you start by saying there's assholes everywhere (agreed) then undermine your own point by trashing other cities. Nice work.

Yeah well I'm a Bills fan so I'm used to seeing the same by November. Sigh.

While I don't like A-Rod, Bud Light Selig and MLB are not exactly sympathetic characters themselves. The steroid saga, let's not forget, was allowed to flourish under Bud Light's supervision. This mess is Bud Light's making, and while A-Rod isn't exactly a hero, he's not wrong to throw this right back in MLB's face.

I hear you, but it's more than just artistic vision — it's a work journalism, and being in the moment is also part of what makes a great photo, in my mind. It's the act of capturing it, along with the presentation of it, that make it a great photo. A photographer can't always stylize a shot, especially an action shot,

No, it's not an amazingly technical photo, but it's just as much feature photo as it is sports photo, so I would say the content matters a lot. And the reproduction could just be crappier on this website. I haven't seen the original shot in SI so I don't know for sure, but I would not call it a "terrible" photo.

how is the photo terrible? You sound like you're just mad for the sake of being mad.

They could have avoided all of this if they just said it was a hip-hop theme instead of "ghetto fabulous."

People who complain about comments while making comments strike me as bored. The internet has been around for a while now, if you don't like a comment, don't read it!

It's not "the media," it's the NY Post. It's not fair to lump in responsible outlets with this reprehensible outlet.
