Yes but just Ezio Auditore works too. Auditore is his family name which we westerners usually call a last name. Da Firenze is where he is from, it means "of Florence" in English. It's going to be a point and click game so it will be best played with a mouse. I'm guessing based on the type of game that it will be light on system requirements so chances are it will work on your computer.

I don't think he tried selling this specific project to publishers. I think he's just had enough dealings with them in the past to know that they wouldn't have done an old-school adventure game at this point.

No this project is not Psychonauts 2. There is talk of making a Psychonauts 2 funded in part by Notch but that is a separate project.

I've heard Kane & Lynch 2 only takes about 4 hours to beat so that might not be an issue.
