@Etheris: TF2 was in a box with 4 single player games for starters and for most people it wasn't the selling point. L4D is pretty much a purely multiplayer game. (I know you can play single player but it's not how the game is meant to be played). Also at the time Valve decided to give the PS3 a chance at first

@Etheris: He's not just talking about the players themselves. He's also referring to the community features on the console.

@Thorax: Fanboyishness is an irrational loyalty to one platform. Valve is not choosing one platform to be loyal too they simply think one platform is a failure this generation. They are far from the only ones. #left4dead2

@Sisee: They did some other simple graphical enhancements like anti-aliasing.

I give a shit!!

To everyone complaining about the British accent: Persia was one of the many places in the world that had colonialists from the British Empire so there would have historically been British people living in parts of Persia. I don't know how accurate having royalty such as a British "prince" is, but this is a story

@Tom Servo: Did you catch the part where the game asks you (twice even) if you want to skip the disturbing level? They added it knowing that if it too much for someone, that person can skip it. #modernwarfare2

@dd528: Yes but large companies generally try to avoid doing things that will produce an outcry even if they are allowed to do so. For example you know how extended cable channels self censor themselves as not to upset their advertisers. #modernwarfare2

@oby: Well it's a game over if you attack them. And you don't have to be a homicidal maniac (except to defend yourself), you can just follow along and watch the terrorrists. But really the reason is that if you didn't let the events of that level play out the way the writers intend them to then you prevent the

@oby: In the game you can try and shoot them they but they kill you instead. #modernwarfare2

I have played the level and I can assure you it will be controversial and disturbing to people who can be disturbed by watching an act of terrorrism and this news is not merely a publicity stunt. I'll be very surprised if this doesn't reignite the discussions on fox news etc. about the impact of violence in video

But you can already download demos for free. Or is Sony going to deny people this so they can sell more movies? #ps3

@I Am Error: I would have thought so too but Banjo-Kazooie was published by Nintendo and that's on XBLA. I think it's more like all other Rare games were either Rare's own property or Nintendo's. James Bond on the other hand is a property owned by neither. I think the reason it hasn't been released is that the

@deanbmmv: I'm not sure the copywright works that way for this game. Rare/Microsoft obviously got the rights to franchises created by Rare, but they also clearly do not have ownership of games Rare made based on existing Nintendo franchises. Since James Bond is neither a Nintendo or a Rare created property and is

@dracosummoner: It's called balance. They aren't offering the toggle so everyone in a match will be playing the game the same way and therefor will be balanced. #callofdutymodernwarfare2

@Kobun: The third person is a separate mode designed around the third person viewpoint. The single player is highly scripted and designed around a first person viewpoint. It would have to be drastically reworked for the third person to be a worthwile option. #callofdutymodernwarfare2

I'm bored with smashing boxes, crates, etc. to gain items or currency.
