Exactly. I quite liked how 11's first episode was spent frantically running around in the tattered remains of 10's outfit. I can't wait to see what look he ends up going for. I initially hated Smith's choice but it grew on me over time.

Tegan yelling "Your dreaming, Pete" had me in stitches!

Not a movie (series), but I humbly submit The Culture for an example of how we'd be better off siding with machines.

"Stop saying that Withnail, of course he's a fucking farmer!"

Do it! (discretely of course ;)

I fucking hate Friends and how it ruined cafe culture.

Agreed. He deserves another crack at being the Doctor on screen.

Yeah, I was enjoying things up until that point and then thought, "oh no, not another RTD deux-ex-machina!"

Very true. Jack tracking him down and jumping on the TARDIS is what caused that whole mess in the first place.

On the flip side, it was the Doctor's achilles heel (or hand, he he), given that the Master used it to get his genetic code and mess him up royally.

Zakalwe is a rather good example of an amoral protagonist. Use of Weapons interestingly tells the main story in a linear progression, while we learn of Zakalwe's history in reverse order. By the time you get to the end and find out what he did? Holy shit. I still can't help but like him though.

I'm as old as Star Wars, but yours is much cooler!

Feersum Endjinn is awesome! The phonetic chapters can be tricky at first, but that style of writing make's Bascule so endearing.

I can't wait until all the Hobbit films our out in extended cut Blu-Ray. I'm going to marathon that, followed by extended Lord of the Rings, and probably die in the process.

It also had great location filming, and a neat take on the origins of religion (re-watching it now). Turlough does have some things to do, but I won't spoil it. It's worth a re-watch.

Hmm, I suppose so. I'll have to watch it again, it's been a few years.

Oddly enough my favorite story with Turlough, is his last one. I think he worked well in that one solo story with the Fifth Doctor, one of the rare times the Doctor's with a male companion. I really missed Tegan and Nyssa.

He redeemed himself however, in it didn't feel like a cheat either.

I think JNT was good at first, but should really have left with Peter Davison, who should have regenerated with the last episode of that series, not with one left to go. Colin Baker gets a lot of flak, but really all sorts of shit was going wrong then. The costume Turner insisted on Baker wearing was his nadir, and a
