I think it's normal in a way to feel sad about the entertainment thing; it's mourning the lost potential, the story's that'll never be. It can come off as crass, but I sincerely think that's how people express themselves, and it doesn't mean they feel any less about the life that's lost. I found it hard to take the

I still find it very hard to take that there won't be more Culture story's : (

Not entirely on topic, but I just have to say I really want to see that Dr Who 50th anniversary footage, and can't for the life of me understand why Moffat is so insistent on holding it back. Obviously the vast majority of Who fans couldn't be at Comic-Con, so what's the deal?

I've converted two non - SF fans with this baby right here. Having said that what works is to know what type of fiction they enjoy in the first place, and then find an SF book with similar themes.

I hear that wearing a mask is the trick undertaken by most celebs when they want to walk the floor, so I always try to remember to be nice to the masked ones, because you never know!

I AM THE LAW!

And how very brave was it? To finish the film after the tragic death of the lead, despite all odds? Major Kudos I say to Gilliam, Depp, Law and Farrell for doing what they did.

Sadly this will never be the case now. I was always dreaming of bumping into the man when I lived in Edinburgh, but it never happened.

You can keep The Federation, I'll take The Culture any day of the week. I want to live hundreds of years as a man, a woman and in between. I want to enjoy my Drug Gland secretions, build weird attractions on my home Orbital, take a trip around the galaxy in a GSV, meet like minded aliens and shoot the shit with Drones

A great insult of sorts to the way certain Culture Minds work -

I couldn't find a picture or clip (ha!), but Lenny Nero's final fight in Strange Days is really brutal.

Brilliant! I somehow never looked at it that way before.

Yes they are ; )

i read somewhere that it was supposed to be Wookies instead of Ewoks originally. That would have been so much better.

And the outfit. Oh dear lord the outfit : (

Just looking on it with the modern eye. But I take you're point : )

From what I read when The Wasp Factory was getting published, he'd wanted to use the 'M,' but his publisher thought it sounded too fussy, so he dropped it, and apparently the Menzies side of his family were a bit hurt by this, so later on when Consider Phlebas was published he added the 'M.' He later said he kind of

Fair point, but then we have moved on from those times, so why shouldn't the costume reflect that?

Do you know by any chance if the 'Not region locked' extends to BluRay movies and DVD's also? Or is it strictly for games only?

Crap, I missed it, left after a minute of credits.
