“It was the intern’s fault.” There’s a real profile in courage.

I’m an engineer and I love the US system. It’s just so much more stylish than metric.

Expecting a repair to be simple and go smoothly on a German automobile.

Also, if people online say it’s a 20-minute job, it’s going to take 2-3 hours. Always.

Cut him a break, he’s a journalist not a mechanic :P

You’ve given a lot of thought to a very bad idea. Are you a campaign aide for Donald Trump?

A full face helmet is a liability in a fight. But otherwise, yes.

Also, parts should be easy to get to, like the filters and such. You shouldn’t have to remove a fender to get a battery (*ahem* Solstice).

You forgot the most important thing:

Actually there are two main causes. Driver error, and using an analog tire pressure gauge.

You cover a lot of ground at 250mph.

Because that will push the front wheels off the ground and increase your braking distance.

Similar size and weight gas-powered aircraft burn about 4-5 gallons of avgas per hour in level flight. Avgas weighs about 6 pounds per gallon. So the fuel for one hour’s level flight weighs between 24 and 30 pounds. I would expect that the batteries weigh somewhere between 250-450 pounds given the stated weight of the

Welp, if an electric car doesn’t give you range anxiety, I imagine an electric airplane will.

Now playing

“The E-Fan dramatically improves safety by totally eliminating flammable aviation fuel from the equation. Fewer combustibles onboard an E-Fan significantly reduces the risk of injury or death for pilots, passengers, first responders and others.”

THIS is the finger of justice, Lockwood. It makes my chest hairs tingle every time I point it at miscreants like YOU.

You forgot the part about sitting in front of the computer, watching your traffic YouTube channel and masturbating to your own righteousness.

I don’t know whats worse - mostly minor “infractions” or people making taking the time taking, editing and uploading videos about such behavior...
I see worse drivers every day here in Germany - just play it cool and stay aware for idiots around you. No need to get all ruffled up ;)

Inertia is a bitch though, as you are pushed forward you would inevitably ease up on the brake when you didn’t want to. That’s why hand controls for handicapped drivers has the gas as back toward you and the brake as push forward.
