I was excited about reading adequate man, but I really hope the next set of articles are better than this one.

I absolutely love the way racing looks from inside the vehicle, but for crashes, you still can't beat the outside view.

Wow. That is quiet a rare ride. Very nice.

That's terrible! I'm named after a dog!

Since you clearly seem to know a great deal about these sort of things, could you tell me the year in which metals stopped expanding at different rates, or when elastomers became immune to the effects of temperatures?

Thanx for the info!

What do you drive?

Agree, offroad guys would refer to tires. However, a wheel is a rim/tire assembly, thus used correctly. It's the guys referring to their rim as wheel that are using the wrong term.

Well there are drawbacks, the CV joints are forced thru so much motion that they are not as rugged as they need to be on such a vehicle.

lol, wheels not rims. The offroad guys measure the diameter of the tire, as opposed to the rim.

The last raptor was sporting 35" wheels, so lets assume this one does too. The skid plates seem to be about 2/5th of the way up the wheel (maybe half way, hard to tell) so that would be 14" of clearance.

The current incarnation is likely to be horrible in that regard as well. I'm guessing 16mpg, but it might be as high as 21 if they care about economy at all for some weird reason. Which is possible. I mean, you appear to.

No, that is not the solution at all. Rather it is to run the engine rather gently until it is fully warmed up (not just to thin the oil, but also to bring the metal components to their proper temps).

Lol, people could be deterred by nuclear weapons, and of that fails, industrial progress could be halted. I supposed one could even make a moral case for such action, if the threat of global warming is weighed sufficiently (I would not agree, but thats beside the point).

Several obvious reasons:

That is an extremely ego centric view of history. It makes the now a pivotal moment that greatly affects the future, but every moment from now on would be locked into a predetermined path. If menkind is capable of adversely altering the climate now, and managed to not do so, is there reason to believe that we will

Structural integrity? Would that test include a large, wooden bat?

Right. Now imagine that you are the father, who also happens to be a judge. What are you going to do to the snot nose smart ass that burst out with that line?

Lately the only kind of pollution that people seem to be concerned about are GHG's, which the catalyst does nothing to reduce. So bring on the acid rain, as long its cold acid rain.

The courts generally do not look favorably on those technically correct lies of the "I didn't actually sleep with your daughter" variety. Although the folks selling gluten free water seems to be getting away with it.
