Not to support creationism in anyway, but isn't there something about the relation of information and energy in thermodynamics, at least insofar as entropy being the absence of information?

I went to school in a different country, where we had a bible class, taught as literature. You weren't required to (or expected) believe a word of it, but you were expected to be reasonably familiar with the story and characters, since there are so many biblical references in daily life. Personal faith rarely came up

I've done that once, on my way to meet some friends at their camp. At night.

The main advantage of of dirt specific bikes on trails is that they don't cost you $1,000 when they fall over. Because all bikes fall over, sooner or later.

One is barely over a year, the other is 7. Both love it, in their own different ways. Strapping the younger one into a seat is much easier than it was in my 3 series.

Red on Red was the one I got. Wasn't looking for any color, just the one I managed to get a good deal on. Kids don't seem to mind the rear doors, climbing is considered cool.

Considered it, but:

Torch, are you sure you don't have some feelings about your relationship with your dad that need exploring? You're getting far too worked up over this.

Just got an FJ, its my first 4wd. Can't stop grinning. It's the most fantastically silly thing ever, I doubt you'll regret it.

Having ridden motorcycles for years, I'm perfectly fine with a sequential, as long as there is a real clutch pedal. Of course, I can't think of any cars with such a setup.

While I completely agree, it's hardly a must have. More like the cherry on top

Cruise control. I'm amazed that there are vehicles made in the 21st century available without it. Not when all the throttles went to drive by wire, so it's nothing more than code.

I make it a point of telling every dealer I interact with that I would be willing to pay an extra $5k for a manual if it was an option. Maybe one day the manufacturers will hear me.

Manual transmission, and that is becoming a very difficult requirement to satisfy.

Yes, I remember thinking that the crewmax was large enough for a game of tennis. But I had to have a manual transmission, so no full size trucks for me.

Dude, I was with you, but have you ever owned a pickup? There is no way you can go a year without someone asking you to help them move a couch.

I was pricing crew cabs recently. If you reject the I4's (which I did) you looking at very high 20's for a frontier or low 30's for a taco, in crew cab, and the local dealerships weren't willing to make deals on those. But they all were pushing full sizes, and I could get a ford, or a chevy in the low 30's in crew

Yeah, the S-10 is pretty bad. But the difference between a taco and a frontier are night and day.

True, but the frontier has cheap written on every bit of its interior.

Ah, the dilemma of mid size trucks. They cost almost as much as a full size, and the fuel economy is only slightly better, in addition they often feel like every corner has been cut. So unless a full size just plain wont fit your needs, it makes sense to spend the extra $2k for a full size truck.
