Torch, are you sure you don't have some feelings about your relationship with your dad that need exploring? You're getting far too worked up over this.
Just got an FJ, its my first 4wd. Can't stop grinning. It's the most fantastically silly thing ever, I doubt you'll regret it.
Having ridden motorcycles for years, I'm perfectly fine with a sequential, as long as there is a real clutch pedal. Of course, I can't think of any cars with such a setup.
While I completely agree, it's hardly a must have. More like the cherry on top
Cruise control. I'm amazed that there are vehicles made in the 21st century available without it. Not when all the throttles went to drive by wire, so it's nothing more than code.
I make it a point of telling every dealer I interact with that I would be willing to pay an extra $5k for a manual if it was an option. Maybe one day the manufacturers will hear me.
Manual transmission, and that is becoming a very difficult requirement to satisfy.
Yes, I remember thinking that the crewmax was large enough for a game of tennis. But I had to have a manual transmission, so no full size trucks for me.
Dude, I was with you, but have you ever owned a pickup? There is no way you can go a year without someone asking you to help them move a couch.
I was pricing crew cabs recently. If you reject the I4's (which I did) you looking at very high 20's for a frontier or low 30's for a taco, in crew cab, and the local dealerships weren't willing to make deals on those. But they all were pushing full sizes, and I could get a ford, or a chevy in the low 30's in crew…
Yeah, the S-10 is pretty bad. But the difference between a taco and a frontier are night and day.
True, but the frontier has cheap written on every bit of its interior.
Ah, the dilemma of mid size trucks. They cost almost as much as a full size, and the fuel economy is only slightly better, in addition they often feel like every corner has been cut. So unless a full size just plain wont fit your needs, it makes sense to spend the extra $2k for a full size truck.
I think you got it all wrong. Blank buttons show how rich and important you are. Sure, anyone can get all the options on a Kia, but you are wealthy enough to afford a car that is available with options that haven't even been invented yet. I think I'm going to get a kick starter going for fake glue on blank buttons, so…
The zonda called as well.
A malfunctioning printer
It's a great ad, but maybe not for a car. I mean, its really pretty, and mysterious and dangerous. I suppose it might convince me to buy the car so I can be associated with something pretty and mysterious and dangerous, but that is the exact logic of that caddy ad that everyone hated.
Solidly mounted motor, geared down real low? Maybe, maybe not. Certainly not if its a worm and gear reduction
How does it perform at the track? What cars have similar track times? Any problem with limp modes like the one described at an earlier article?
