My understanding was that this too was caused by cafe. Manufacturers need to keep their average economy (by sales) down, so they drop the price of small fuel sippers low, possibly below the breaking point, to up their sales, and then make up the lost revenue with high prices on the more thirsty vehicles.

To be fair, while it is not at all smoggy here in west Texas, I have seen storms that made the day look only marginally lighter than that.

1. It all looks rather staged, yes, including the freaking out. I mean, if she wasn't going to freak out, what would be the point of filming it?

They also inhale rocks and twigs which cause some damage. Than there is there are the maintenance costs, which are rather extreme.

Very cool toy. That said, I can see some problems with the full sized one.

I'm wondering about the parallels myself. You can certainly built a car from as many spare parts as you want to, or just start from scratch. You can disregard any safety and emission laws, you could mount guns, lasers, and helicopter blades on it. If you could figure out how, you can use a shark treadmill equivalent

If rental companies can be held liable for any damage or injury resulting from renting out a car under recall, their self preservation should keep them from sending out the dangerous cars on the road.

If you do receive it...

Does anyone know how to turn off the "related" breaks in the middle of each article? It sure makes it hard to read.

What are detachable body parts, and how do they save 220lbs?

If that is a very very souped up FR-S, it may convince people that car is a gift from the gods. On the other hand, if it is a purpose build race car skinned to look like an FRS, then it really doesn't say anything about the FRS at all.

Is that car in anyway an FRS? The wheel spacing looks wrong, as does the back end, and the engine doesn't sound like a flat 4.

Bought some old volvo for an ex of mine. The side bolsters (is that the right term?) of the rear seats (the part of the back rest that keeps you from sliding into the door) were simply clipped in, so you could take them out with no tools, and were made from molded foam with a hollow cavity on the back side. It was a

True, but lot's of people who want a mustang will have another reason to buy one.

Great idea! Also, if you are going to start with "so you wanted a sport car, but the wife is making you buy a SUV" take some fastish suv's and put them against comparable sportish cars.

On the highway, he doesn't even need an auto transmission. I imagine with practice, one can do without cruise control.

If distracted driving is easier than ever, doesn't that make it safer than ever? Maybe it's about time we lay off the distracted driving panic button and raise our speed limits some.

If we really thought distracted driving was dangerous, we wouldn't allow police officers to operate laptops while driving. Since we do, I'm starting to think that this is the new revenue scam. After all, does anyone know how many drivers did not cause an accident while driving?

If you buy one, will it be registered as Detroit Electric?

If more thieves feared getting shot, fewer people would be thieving.
