Actually seedless watermelons and grapes are sterile triploid hybrids between diploid and tetraploid varieties. They are "cultivated" I would say, but no manual gene manipulation was done to make them seedless.

I'm no fan of Europe or Europeans
The problem is that 90+% of things you would find in the grocery store are GMO or contain some GMO ingredient. There would be no point to the mandatory labeling, it would just confuse and frighten uninformed people. A better solution, which companies are already doing, is to label products specifically non-GMO. …
You can argue the merits of a voucher system, but if that's the way you are going to go then I don't see any problem with people using their vouchers at religious schools. That would be like saying you can't buy bibles with your welfare money.
Super authorized. Parents make life-altering decisions about their children every day, all the time. Where they live, what school they go to, what activities they take part it, who their friends are, etc.
That's only assuming that we all stay here on Earth. If we have the technology to live forever, suddenly space exploration looks a lot more interesting.
The growth regulating gene comes from a Chinook Salmon. They get something called a promoter gene from that pouty fish. I'm no geneticist, but my understanding of it is that the promoter gene is like a glue to make the other gene work right when they put it into the Atlantic Salmon.
The GM salmon grow faster, reaching maturity in half the time of regular salmon (18 months as opposed to 3 years). Normally the atlantic salmon only grow during the spring and summer. They added a gene from a different kind of salmon that makes them grow year round, thus half the time.
I'm not sure if you are aware, but the people on Twitter are not talking directly to you.
I think his point is that law makers jump right on making this illegal but people are still allowed to mutilate their dogs in other ways that are more traditionally acceptable (docking tails and ears for instance), not to mention the treatment of livestock which has gone on for much, much longer.
This system doesn't break crypto. If it did the giverbment would have bought it and then destroyed the company to prevent anyone else getting it. What it does do is a very specific form of computation called quantum annealing which can be used to solve optimization problems. Even if it did break currently used crypto,…
Too bad we already have lattice based cryptography which is immune to quantum attacks... Academia (and the NSA) is generally 5-10 years ahead of the public on this stuff.
It's pretty insulting to the agency of women to say that men are the "drivers" of attraction.
I wonder how they managed it vis a vis birth control. Did she exclusively do films with him for the extent that they were "trying"?
My friend got a bottle of that once. To be honest it tasted horrible :-( Looks pretty cool though.
Or maybe we could just stop raising animals for meat, that would be a ton more sustainable.
I thought they were saying all he did for one year was sit in front of a computer and retweet women.
Maybe the improved circulation makes it so their hands/feet aren't ice cold and thus sexytimes is less likely to be ruined by an unexpected icy hand job. Alternate explanation! For real though, if it does improve circulation I would like to give this to my wife because I can't take her stealing all my precious body…
I'm not saying your wrong, but the argument doesn't sit right with me. It is too similar to when people say, "oh she must not have been raped or she would have been fighting back harder."
Yeah what is with that? It tastes like 100x better than regular water, but only when you are really, really thirsty.
