That escalated quickly.
That escalated quickly.
You realize that some astronauts are actually accomplished scientists whose job in space is to perform experiments, right? Not all of them are military guys.
crack has a longer mandatory minimum than coke when they are the same drug but one is used by poor people and minorities and one is used mainly by white middle class people
Yeah but what about people who don’t give a shit about organic? My grocery store (and others in poor neighborhoods) barely has any produce at all! If Whole Foods opens up a grocery store that has actual fresh produce, even if it’s not organic, it will be a significant improvement.
The difference is that Subway can be healthy if you order right whereas McDonalds pretty much can’t.
Except that’s not true... in Hampden a bunch of white protesters were out past curfew because they wanted to prove that the police treat white people different, but at 10:05 the police lined up with riot gear and pushed them off the street. Pictures of the police talking to them are at like 9:58 where they are saying…
They’re also burning down senior living centers and church buildings though... it’s pretty indiscriminate. Not that I am saying the narrative should focus on property damage over human life, but to claim that there is a larger reason for the places they are looting is just not true.
I don’t understand people who are all obsessed with their ancestry like that. They usually only care about the patrilineal ancestry (i.e. the “family” is only people with the same last name as them), which is weird and arbitrary. If you go back to the 17th century you could have up to 100,000 ancestors alive at the…
Well to be fair, Missouri is one of the states that didn’t think lawmaker should be an actual profession so state legislators only make $31k a year.
Tina Fey has said in interviews that the reason they felt they could do the whole Jacqueline plot in the first place is because they have two native american writers on their staff.
LoL has ARAM mode now which is 5v5 with just one lane. It's all team fights the whole time, maybe you would like that better.
The Florida-ness of all this really cannot be understated.
It's also only a 6% increase in divorce rate compared to marriages where neither spouse is sick... so about one in seventeen marriages where the wife is sick will divorce when they wouldn't have otherwise.
Yeah I'm not expert or anything but I did take a genetics class in undergrad and that was the example they used to explain aneuploidy. In humans if you have an extra set of chromosomes it usually leads to some horrible disease like down's syndrome, but in plants it leads to delicious seedless varieties. Weird.
Actually seedless watermelons and grapes are sterile triploid hybrids between diploid and tetraploid varieties. They are "cultivated" I would say, but no manual gene manipulation was done to make them seedless.
I'm no fan of Europe or Europeans
The problem is that 90+% of things you would find in the grocery store are GMO or contain some GMO ingredient. There would be no point to the mandatory labeling, it would just confuse and frighten uninformed people. A better solution, which companies are already doing, is to label products specifically non-GMO. …
You can argue the merits of a voucher system, but if that's the way you are going to go then I don't see any problem with people using their vouchers at religious schools. That would be like saying you can't buy bibles with your welfare money.
Super authorized. Parents make life-altering decisions about their children every day, all the time. Where they live, what school they go to, what activities they take part it, who their friends are, etc.
That's only assuming that we all stay here on Earth. If we have the technology to live forever, suddenly space exploration looks a lot more interesting.
