If only we could take fees from people who benefit from capitalism (the rich) and put it in a fund to benefit those who need help with their education (people who take out student loans) and use that fund to help them…if only there were a word for that (taxes).

“It’s not because Sony paid us, definitely not that.  They’re definitely not doing what they’re trying to argue Microsoft would do with Activision games, definitely completely unrelated and not hypocritical.”

Gotta love how Venture Capitalists can fuck up and have everything forgiven and covered by the government, but if the average 20-something out there wants 10k in loans forgiven, by god it’s the end of the financial world as we know it and they’ll fight that all the way to the Supreme Court

I’d imagine they’re still slower but the gap is just smaller.

Okay, look. Most of this, I agree wholeheartedly with. Fuck “Art” AIs, fuck Chatbot AIs, fuck all that shit.

The flip side is letting a legal team do whatever can tarnish a company reputation and lowers its percieved value which can then affect its actual value.

Sony is insufferable. They lead Xbox in marketshare 2:1 or better in almost every market except the US. Hell, it’s more than 95:5 in Japan. They’re just being pissy about a game that has already been guaranteed to be on their platform for more than a decade into the future. All this does is make them look weak,

The article is just drenched in outrage. This is on par with the kind of burn-it-all-down writing you find in response to a tweet about how maybe a 25% tip for take-out is a bit much.

This. We (collectively) seem to have gone from bemoaning the heavy crunch in art and animation to clutching our pearls at the idea of it being less labour-intensive.

I met the guy once when he came to our studio. He even stopped by my desk to comment on all my Chrono Trigger/Cross stuff. Well, through a translator of course.

What happened with Super Paper Mario?

What on earth is this article? You say it’s steeped in assault allegations and then it turns out to be a throwaway line at the very end where it turns out two (2!%) of the (unnamed) contestants have allegations against them. Is that even higher than the average at all?

It has literally nothing to do with the show, or

Nope not using the this. I just know that I’m gonna wake up with a face covered in marker pen from an angry Jigglypuff.

First drip now stunting? I can't keep up with you kids. At least you didn't quote your own tweet in the article.

Is there a site that reviews games specifically after they get patched? I hardly buy games right at launch and it’s getting annoying that reviews tend to focus on problems that might be fixed by the time I get around to them.

They should have killed the cowboy off, the new name doesn’t hide the case that he’ll always be a reminder of Blizzard’s old ways.  Using a grenade to kill a specific female character, that sounds old-school Blizzard as well.
