I am assuming the first to take a king in any timeline wins? I checked the steam page but it did not say. I could also see you having to win the majority of timelines and that after a king is taken that timeline is unalterable.

For games I love I will absolutely go for the hardest difficulty.

Even though I haven’t played Warframe I’m glad you highlighted that you get equipment at the end of missions. Equipment optimizing in the middle of missions is terribly tedious and most equipment-based games both allow and compel players to do so.

I wish there was some way to validate that a reviewer actually experienced the game/movie before posting a review. I suppose readers can judge from the content of the review, but that doesn’t stop it from affecting the aggregate score. Maybe only reviews with a certain number of likes could affect the aggregate? This has the feel of marketing all over it in being tangentially relevant while somehow also being entirely tone deaf.

The voice acting in Total War Three Kingdoms felt weird to me for that exact reason. It is not like they did a bad job or its a deal breaker, it’s just a strange feeling to see Chinese people in China speaking English with a heavy Chinese accent.

I feel like this type of monetization does make them money but also costs them respect and erodes the company’s long term standing.
