I beat the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion yesterday and I am so so sad that is over. It was such an absolute joy to play and an astounding improvement to the vanilla story mode. Seriously check it out if you have the game or are interested in getting it. Each of the 80 missions feel like a shrine from Breath of Wild with

For anyone looking for a bit more insight into the speedrun and this game, here’s a commentated run of the N64 version of this game done at SGDQ back in 2014.

I just recently started exploring listening to podcasts in the car (longtime audiobook listener), and I’m really enjoying your splitscreen episodes! Thanks for everything, especially with this crazy E3 week they have been a treat.

It was streamed on the E3 coliseum stream on youtube.

Why don’t they make a procontroller shaped like a gamecube controller?

They’ve said you see your character in the inventory screen, which reminds me of Destiny, a game in which a shocking amount of people care about cosmetics.

Is there a way for games like Ticket To Ride (where each player has a hand of cards hidden from the others) to work with local multiplayer? Maybe the answer is just “well the other players can see your cards in this version”, but I have to wonder if there’s a better way.

This post immediately made me think of the great Owen Good, I hope he is doing better.

Any favorite small to moderate sized twitch streams? I feel like so many people only think of twitch as the huge eSport/Ninja/GDQ multi-thousand viewer channels and miss out on the honest and awesome communities that are out there on twitch.

What is your dream e3 surprise announcement?

Following a twitch streamer is free, however subscribing costs money (Prime users do get 1 free subscription a month though). One option Twitch partners have is to lock their archived videos so that only “Subscribers” can see them, it’s a really annoying option and one I don’t see used very often.

The 3DS Ambassador program was so sweet, literally 20 free games for being an early adopter.

I’m convinced the 3DS is going to have 1 of the best games library in history by the time Nintendo finally leaves it be. The fact it’s has console level ports like Luigi’s Mansion, Xenoblade 3D, Minecraft, and Hyrule Warriors is just crazy to me. (A real shame they bungled Mario Maker )

I agree, there have been a shocking amount of ports from Wii U, and they have all been announced exactly as so. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Hyrule Warriors Def. Edition, Captain Toad (lol), Bayonetta 1+2....

I wish there was more of a limitation on choosing which game the input would be sent too. I like the idea of it being random between the games for maximum chaos.

You’ve gotten plenty of replies already but I’d like to make a point, twitch chats can easily be amazing communities up to 600-800 viewers, and with the right streamer and mods I’ve had awesome experiences regularly even in 1200-1400 viewer channels. I understand why it’s easy to generalize twitch chat cancer, but

(and I don’t mean my memory cards, a decision you can unintentionally make in one of the later endings!).

For those of you wary about clicking download links, here’s a youtube upload I found.

This is really neat, I wonder if it would be compatible with other mods, and if so are there custom ME time trial level mods?

Been playing through the 3DS version of XC1 the past couple of months, and my only complaint is that managing all my items & equipped gear is such a huge chore. I’ll spend 20 minutes just going through my characters gear and equipped gems, crafting gems, trying to figure out whether to purchase things from a store.
