Love the competitive smash scene. The game is really fun to watch and I love stories like this.

Other people have commented shedding light on the subject, but I’ll just say that that is very unimportant in the scheme of things about this game. Don’t think you won’t enjoy it, it is a gem.
It varies depending on how much side questing and stuff you do, I’ve seen people take anywhere from 30-50 hours for the full game (A-E).
100% agree. I hope most people can experience it without spoiling themselves. The experience itself feels so finely crafted.
It’s the tone of the headline really, I got the impression that Orisa was used for all of a match/point and failed utterly. The article states clearly “with time ticking down to a Complexity victory” the switch came. One death is nothing to get excited or disappointed with really, but I understand the commentators…
Well apparently Kotaku commenters are stealth game gods but this mission took me over 2 hours. It is a dumpster fire.
Honestly, I think so. It’s hard to compete with a juggernaut like Zelda, but I think Nier Automata is a homerun in many ways.
It’s not so much “replay” as it is playing something new. It’s very much worth it and it doesn’t feel like a cheap way to extend the games content.
*spoilers* After you beat A you start on B which will appear similar at first but end up being a very very different experience, after B a completely new segment will begin.
Ah thank you for the explanation. I haven’t played TellTale games since Tales Of Monkey Island and Sam & Max Season 3. I miss their classic adventure game style.
One of today’s lucky 10,000!
I stumbled upon that one when I stillonly had 4 hearts and didn’t have 2 levels of cold protection, it was such a feeling rushing to accomplish it while my healing supply of apples dwindled. I made it to safety with 1 apple left! Probably my favorite moment from the game so far.
I wasn’t really expecting anything more than a “certificate yay you collected everything” type thing, I was just surprised it was a bad toilet humor joke (Da nana na naaaa! you get a piece of shit.). But other commenters have pointed out that Golden Poop, “Kin no Unko”, is a well known pun on good luck in Japan, which…
Oh yeah, the inventory expansion is definitely a great reward and the game would suffer without it. I was merely surprised it was just a lame toilet humor joke, but apparently golden poop is a well known pun on “good luck” in Japan. Which makes much more sense why it’s included.
Ah I hadn’t thought of the possibility that it was just another zany pun in japanese! And a classic pun at that. Thanks for the info.
It seems odd to have that at the end of a game that does such a good job of giving you a sense of reward for exploring, poking, and experimenting.
Wait seriously? Tell me this is just a photoshop, I can’t believe Nintendo would make a shitty toilet humor joke the reward for collecting so much.
Since you’re re-finishing it, would vinyl decals be safe to use after painting them like this?
I’m not going to argue with your math, but the Stealth/Escort mission with the Korok was so damn hard!
Excellent point about Wind Waker, the main thing these speed running articles always leave out is that speedrunning has differently categories! Just like WW had a any% no tingle tuner category, BoTW will probably have a no amiibo category. But anyone thinking of adding a restriction to the standard any% is crazy.
