I was around level 45, but I played in a very completionist way, making sure I pick up every single item and don’t miss anything. Plus I even may be misremembering it a bit. Still, it was really disappointing that the really fun chapters with lots of action were really short yet the sudden survival/horror section

Yet you’d be surprised how many threads (and upvotes) there were on reddit with people mad that they got banned from chat for no good reason. The filters were set fairly strict and it was still terrible. Either GDQ needs to just turn off the chat or Twitch needs to do something because it represents their service and

Obligatory XKCD

I think that the mob mentality of the twitch chat during the event may make it look like there is much more controversy than there actually is.

It really irritates me that people get so offended by this “ban” especially since bonesaw himself has admitted he made mistakes. They really should have labeled it “restriction” since he is still perfectly allowed to attend.

I agree! I’m actually really disappointed to see that Heather decided to give these “issues” a highlight in an article like this. This AGDQ was a wonderful event that raised more money than ever!

It’s not so much that it was difficult that it took FOREVER. Chapter 4 took me like 20 minutes of fun action battling against a giant titan thing running over fire and shit. Chapter 13 was like 2.5 hours of SLOWLY walking up this dark tower. Then you fall down and have to go back up the shitty tower.

I think that the first 2 episodes definitely felt a bit off, but after that I definitely got more into the tone and pacing of the show.

I couldn’t help but read this in MatPat’s game theory voice.

Glancing at the schedule, the only game marked as “glitchless” will be Pokemon Emerald tomorrow. But there likely will be more than a few runs that don’t use glitches. I’m pretty certain Super Monkey Ball 2 that will be a shortly before emerald will look a lot more like you expect than a glitchfest like OOT.

So far the only use I’ve gotten of my paddles is a single one (top left) mapped to A. Initially to make it easier to jump in Overwatch (It makes Genji so so much better), but I’ve gotten use out of it as sprint in Gears 4 as well.

I’ve seen a few people mention Silver Spoon and I’ll add a +1 to it.

But is there an achievement for the tutorial you tell us to skip?

But will it improve performance so that it doesn’t feel like I’m using a laptop from 2007 running Vista when I try to do anything?

imo it’s the teleport that is the strongest part of her kit. such versatile movement options, attacking or defending. rush or escape plan.

That’s nothing to be ashamed of! But if you would like to see a speedrun of a comparable category, the world record for “100% glitchless” is just under 6 hours. http://www.speedrun.com/oot#100_Glitchless

He’s actually wrong, TAS videos frequently have different timing than RTA speedruns, they are much more likely to start time at console power on and end after the credits.

I haven’t given a racing game any attention in a long time (Burnout Revenge was such a good video game), but this article convinced me to keep this one on my radar. This looks super good.

Quick, break out the picture of Owen in the sleeping bag suit with the wheelbarrow for blackmail!

Yeah my class is about to start and I also love reading the writers commentary as the event goes on. Anyone got a List made on twitter of some game journalists?
